as you can see by the varied answers there are different definitions of "glow." While this doesn't have any kind of shimmer in it, so technically it doesn't leave a "shimmer," it is an oil, and in my opinion it leaves a nice, dewy glow (until it's fully absorbed or rubbed off)

Yes, it does leave a dewy, bronzy glow on the skin, but no shimmer or anything like that. It looks absolutely beautiful on the skin, especially if you use it as an overnight treatment.

I've been using this for a few weeks now on my finicky combination skin. I do avoid my chin, but I pat Divine Oil liberally on my face (forehead, around eyes, cheeks) after showering. So far I've had no breakouts and my skin seems so much calmer and soft. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling.

that will depend on your skin type. if you wash your face in the shower and pretty immediately feel dry, you are lacking oil. if it takes several hours for you to feel dry or if you see shine fairly quickly out of the shower, you may not need this product as much. i feel dry immediately out of the shower and ive used several different types of oils to massage into my face and body and ive only seen improvement. before using oil products to moisturize, i was breaking out from lack of oil and stripping my skin of what it needed. i think its worth a try if you are dry and need to replenish natural oil in your skin.

I'm sure it depends on your skin type. Mine is generally on the dry side, particularly in the winter. But I use this on my face and skin everywhere, and have not had a single issue, single blocked pore. It's a very light, non-greasy, fast-absorbing skin oil.

Yes! I use this on my face every night, and it does not clog my pores or cause acne, and I have combination skin! The only time that I would avoid using this is under makeup, but only if you have oily or combination skin.

answer 2
Most definitely! I was skeptical at first because I have combination skin so I used it at night first. Woke up with my skin feeling fantastic. No I use it day and night. LESS IS MORE! I like to buy the small bottle so i can keep it in my makeup bag. I'd recommend 1 spritz onto your fingertips, rubbing it on your hands, then patting your face so as to not use too much. Never going back to lotions again!

If you can get past the scent, you can use it on your face. I've used both this and just argan oil on my face. I would use the Divine oil for the face and use the true argan oil on my neck. My personal suggestion for what works on my skin.

Based on your question, I think you would really like this product. I used to wear (and reapply) perfume all day, but when I use this oil in place of regular lotion, I don't need perfume at all. The scent really lasts and is really a universally-appealing scent.

the scent is very light- and I found that it lasts all day even with working long hours even when wearing a long sleeve/ sweater. keep in mind to rub this product onto your skin and let dry a bit before clothing. I have not tried this in my hair but I am sure it would have a light scent as well- I would try this on dry hair first instead of wet hair. hope this helps.

The scent is very subtle - I'd say it may last a half-day, but you'd only smell it if your nose was right on the skin. Good for snuggling, not for attracting attention.

I only noticed the fragrance for about an hour after application. For me, the luxury is in the application itself, I don't really expect dry oil scents to linger for a long time. I don't use it to replace actual fragrance, but it is a nice fragrance for after bath, before bed, for example. I love these oils for moisture all over (hair and body), the scent of this one is a bonus.

I wouldn't say this sent (which is very nice and luxurious) will last ALL day but it does linger for several hours and I only apply it to my face. It may linger longer when applied to your hair and body.

answer 6
No appreciable difference in the quality of moisturization in these two products. The main difference is in scent and dispensation. Fresh smells like lemon and sugar and the bottle has an open neck so you can freely pour the oil into your hand, but it drips and runs out more quickly. Caudalie has more musk and a spray tip, so you can spray it on yourself or spray multiple times into your hand to control the amount. Both are heavily scented.

I'm also reluctant to use this on my face, mostly because it's highly scented (which I don't mind in a body product and I do love the scent of this). I do use oils on my face but I prefer those actually developed for facial use specifically - products like the facial oils from Clarins. Not sure if Sephora carries those or not but they are amazing.

They say this oil is for the face too but I would NOT use it anywhere near my face. It has lots of excessive fragrance in it which shouldn't be in a facial oil at all. You can get many other pure oils to use on your face that are better quality and don't contain any fragrance or unnecessary chemicals. Try Josie Maran's argan oil or pure maracuja oil instead. I personally don't even use this on any sensitive skin at all since I got the small size and realized how much fragrance is packed into this oil. There's just no reason for that and it should be avoided on the face or sensitive areas. I like it on my hands, elbows, knees, etc. and that's all I'll use it for until my bottle runs out.

I wash my hair every other day and blow dry it every day (i.e., from wet to dry the day I wash it and just for a minute the day after to smooth out frizzies and bed head). Have been spraying this oil on the ends of dry hair right before I blow-dry on "off" days -- nice way to keep the shine up and doesn't leave my hair greasy like oils or balms you put on / near the the roots.

Personally, I use it after I've showered and towel dried my hair some. My hair is still a bit wet, though not sopping. I put some in my hands (not too much, don't want my hair oily) then run it through my hair and comb it in. After, I let it air dry. I assume you can then blow dry your hair, but mine is so long and I'm lazy. Either way, this keeps my hair manageable. SO manageable.
