Does this oil cause breakouts?

answer 1
I've been using this for a few weeks now on my finicky combination skin. I do avoid my chin, but I pat Divine Oil liberally on my face (forehead, around eyes, cheeks) after showering. So far I've had no breakouts and my skin seems so much calmer and soft. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling.

Because it was so highly scented, I was afraid to use it anywhere other than my hair. It's going back!

I have acne prone skin and used a bit on my face after I shower before bed and it did not make me break out, However, my skin is combo not oily so I might not use if I had oily + acne prone skin.

that will depend on your skin type. if you wash your face in the shower and pretty immediately feel dry, you are lacking oil. if it takes several hours for you to feel dry or if you see shine fairly quickly out of the shower, you may not need this product as much. i feel dry immediately out of the shower and ive used several different types of oils to massage into my face and body and ive only seen improvement. before using oil products to moisturize, i was breaking out from lack of oil and stripping my skin of what it needed. i think its worth a try if you are dry and need to replenish natural oil in your skin.

I'm sure it depends on your skin type. Mine is generally on the dry side, particularly in the winter. But I use this on my face and skin everywhere, and have not had a single issue, single blocked pore. It's a very light, non-greasy, fast-absorbing skin oil.

I don't think the scent is subtle. After a while the scent subsides but I would try on a smaller area first before using it on larger to see if you can handle it.

I would not recommend this oil if you are looking for a subtle smell. This one is definitely not. Very perfume'y, heavy smell. Try it first .

Based on your question, I think you would really like this product. I used to wear (and reapply) perfume all day, but when I use this oil in place of regular lotion, I don't need perfume at all. The scent really lasts and is really a universally-appealing scent.

the scent is very light- and I found that it lasts all day even with working long hours even when wearing a long sleeve/ sweater. keep in mind to rub this product onto your skin and let dry a bit before clothing. I have not tried this in my hair but I am sure it would have a light scent as well- I would try this on dry hair first instead of wet hair. hope this helps.

The scent is very subtle - I'd say it may last a half-day, but you'd only smell it if your nose was right on the skin. Good for snuggling, not for attracting attention.

I only noticed the fragrance for about an hour after application. For me, the luxury is in the application itself, I don't really expect dry oil scents to linger for a long time. I don't use it to replace actual fragrance, but it is a nice fragrance for after bath, before bed, for example. I love these oils for moisture all over (hair and body), the scent of this one is a bonus.

I wouldn't say this sent (which is very nice and luxurious) will last ALL day but it does linger for several hours and I only apply it to my face. It may linger longer when applied to your hair and body.

If you can get past the scent, you can use it on your face. I've used both this and just argan oil on my face. I would use the Divine oil for the face and use the true argan oil on my neck. My personal suggestion for what works on my skin.

answer 5
No appreciable difference in the quality of moisturization in these two products. The main difference is in scent and dispensation. Fresh smells like lemon and sugar and the bottle has an open neck so you can freely pour the oil into your hand, but it drips and runs out more quickly. Caudalie has more musk and a spray tip, so you can spray it on yourself or spray multiple times into your hand to control the amount. Both are heavily scented.

I'm sure it does NOT. I believe I read there's not enough of those ingredients to offer protection. I still love to wear at night for the silky slip and relaxing scent, and it can help out any sun-dried/burnt hair or skin to recover too.

It doesn't have enough of those ingredients in it to consider it a sunscreen. New FDA rules are very strict on anything that is considered to be a sunscreen.
