Question
Do these shadows still have good color payoff when used dry?
I already own the Sephora moonshadow palette which is amazing when used wet but doesn't seem to be made to use dry. Is this one the same way or do the shadows go on dry and look like the color that you see in the palette?

They look exactly the way they do in the palette. Bolder wet but still super pretty dry and lasts!

I haven't used all the colors yet, but they go on dry and the colors are pretty intense. I use them sparingly.

With the proper brushes and UDPP I get great color payoff and excellent blending using them dry - and they last all day.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I've found the dry colour payoff pretty poor with some colours (mostly the lighter/medium colours and the dark matte colours). I use UDPP as my primer. Some of the dark glittery colours have really good colour payoff, but I find they blend poorly, and I'm going to be returning my palette today.

I have never tried it wet. Moreover, I didn't read if it does or tried it. The colors actually look better on than when viewed online and in hand. I suggest testing it on hand or if you have time to play with it during a non-event.

These are designed to be used either wet or dry. I use them mostly dry unless I want to amp it up with a smoky eye at night. I've found the colors to be extremely long lasting when I use a primer underneath.

I've only used it dry, and I think the colors are what you see. I'll be trying them wet now though.

This palette isn't baked, like the one you own. Baked eyeshadows don't have great color payoff unless you use them wet. This palette has great payoff dry. I used it today. Gorgeous palette. You won't be disappointed.

This palette won't let you down. I was contemplating spending double the price for the Urban Decay Naked palette... SO GLAD I grabbed this instead!! The colors are awesome and they stay all day!!

The chunky glitter really irritates my eyes, like in UD's Chopper shadow.

I really don't think you'd have an issue, my eyes don't get irritated with glitter, but the glitter is a lot softer that a lot of UD's, I'd give it a shot!

I haven't used all the shades yet, but the ones I have used don't have chuinky glitter. I hear ya about glitter bothering your eyes. I have the same problem. This palette is great.

NO chunks! But, they are all shimmery. Not crazy, glittery shimmery. Just softly shimmery. Very pretty.

The colors range from softer to intense. So, one could go deeper in color or lighter. It goes on evenly, so if you want to add more it allows you to sweep more.

I'm not sure where it's made but I do know I have very sensitive skin, I can't even use most face washes without getting red and breaking out. But this eye palatte works great with sensitive skin, and if you're worried use an oil free eye shadow primer first!

I have very sensitive skin also. I find this product non-irrating to eyes such as mine that have undergone Lasik.

These stay on dry, I own one and have been using it for a month now and have not have to use it wet. The power stay is long, pigmented and definit neutral. Moonshadow to me were sort of cakey hard when I was trying it out and the Instinct one seems to glide on nicely and color picked up nicely so I purchased it and amaze how much quality it was plus the colors coordinations. Worth it.

I purchased this last night and was very disappointed to read on the back that it was made in China. I also purchased the retractable eyeliner that said made in Germany and didn't think to look at the eye shadow. I'm contemplating returning the eye shadow.

I need a matte finish to my eyeshadow, not shimmer. Are these shadows matte finish instead of shimmer? If not, can you recommend some matte finish shadows?

these are all frosted except for the neutrals.
try the too-faced matte palette. (I returned it because matte shadows do me no favors, but the colros are gorgeous)

these are mainly shimmery with a few scattered mattes. I suggest going with nude tude or meet matte from the balm if you need matte.
