I'm pretty sure you'd have to purchase a Clarisonic Plus system in order to use the body brush attachment. When I was comparing products on the Clarisonic website before deciding to purchase this set from Sephora, one of the factors that influenced my decision was whether or not the other systems (Classic, Aria, Mia, etc.) offered body mode. If I remember correctly, the Plus is the only one (aside from the Pro, which is sold to skincare professionals) that has a body mode programmed and thus the only one compatible with the body brush head. The Clarisonic Plus automatically switches to body mode once the body brush head is attached to the smart handle, and after reading about the other models and comparing them I came to the conclusion that the other models would probably not be compatible with the body brush head. I would advise you to visit Clarisonic's website and compare them. Although you may wish to download the manual for each model to double check, I would go by the comparison chart- if it doesn’t say "body mode" in addition to the speeds, I would assume that the body brush head wouldn't be compatible. I'm providing a link to the comparison chart:
One more thing- should you decide to upgrade, I would recommend purchasing your new Clarisonic system through Sephora, whether you do so online or in a store, because Sephora offers a few additional products that Clarisonic doesn’t and your shipping through Sephora would be free. You’d also get a large amount of beauty insider points for your purchase as well as some extra samples. Right after I ordered my Clarisonic Plus from Sephora, I was actually in one of their stores and saw a set exactly like this one (the one you’ve posted your question on and the one I ordered) but with different deluxe samples and a different pattern on the device itself. I believe the additional products were from Fresh and the device itself had a floral pattern in purple…I haven’t seen it offered online. I hope this helps!
