I use it alone and it works great.

I use this product as a day moisturizer, alone. It leaves my skin with a finish similar to that of MUFE HD primer, but the 'moisturizer' effect lasts throughout the day , even with a matte foundation.

Depends on your skin type. This is a very light, non-greasy, gel-like lotion. If you have oily/combo skin, you can probably skip the moisturizer, but dryer skin needs a moisturizer on top.

Question
How does this compare to Murad's Skin Perfecting Lotion?
I use the Skin Perfecting Lotion, and I wonder if the extra $$ this products costs is worth it.

I don't use the Skin Perfecter Lotion, but I think there are other products out there for about the same price that could deliver better. It moisturizes well for something so lightweight and quick-absorbing, but the extent of its effectiveness on lines and pores isn't at the $50 mark.

I've also used the skin perfecting lotion and started using the pore and line lotion after getting a free sample. It works great and does what it claims to. I saw results right away and purchased the full size instead of the skin perfecting lotion just recently.

The Murad rep told me the following: This can be used day or night, but it does not contain an SPF. So be sure that your foundation, tinted moisturizer, etc will help prevent sun damage.

From my personal experience, I would actually prefer something thicker for night use. I like the sheer texture of this for daytime wear, but again, no SPF.

Using it 2x a day for roughly 2 weeks has eliminated one of my larger (though not deep-set) wrinkles, though.

You can wear it at night! There is no SPF or any reason not to. I wear this in the morning and something more hydrating at night!

It it doesn't list SPF ingredients in the list, then it doesn't have any. Most products with SPF also say so on the label. I think Murad does make an SPF moisturizer but I can't remember which one it is. Just read the ingredients list.
