Hello,
This is a nighttime treatment that is used before a moisturizer. I use a pea-size amount and tap the product into my forehead, cheeks and chin-then massage it in. It absorbs quickly! Then I finish with my moisturizer.

Hi!

My name is Patricia and I live now in Brazil. I´m 35 yrs old. I have sun damage on my skin. The reason for my question is because I´ve used other creams with Vitamin C at night before and had skin burning sesantion while walking on the streets (because of the sun) and had to stop using it. NEVER USED THIS VITAMIN C ESTER 15.
I would love to here from you guys.

You can certainly use Vitamin C Ester 15 during the summer. This is a night time product only. Be sure to use an SPF 30 during the day and avoid the sun as much as possible to allow for best results.

It's paraben free - no colorants or dyes to hide the high percent of Vitamin C in with the Ester delivery. So the color can be inconsistant. It's food grade. For that reason it is packaged in small tubes. If it was in a glass jar it would oxidize quickly and turn darker in color faster. The smaller packaging keeps it more stable.

I am not a specialist, but personally I'll use it when I take a night off from retinol, say, maybe 4 or 5 nights of retinol, one night of C. This balance works well for me since retinol leaves my skin a bit angry after some days anyway.

I've been doing this and although it's totally unnecessary, I've had no bad reactions with it.
Using the vitamin C ester alone will do everything retinol is intended for: increase cell turnover, reveal younger skin, control oil and tighten pores. Except Vitamin C does better with wrinkle control.
Try combining Vitamin C ester with a Vitamin E serum. Now that would be a great combo

Vitamin C Ester is a terrific form of Vit C for sensitive skin. Most Vit C's are too harsh. This is a different type of Vit C and safe for all skin types, including those than can be irritated by ingredients.

I asked a sephora associate at the hollywood location if i could use this with retinol and he said yes. he said I could use the vitamin C first and wait a few minutes before putting on the retinol on top. He also suggested trying the vitamin C on the area I needed most and using the retinol around it and comparing the two ways (with retinol on top and without) and seeing which one my skin likes better. we all have different skin but YES it is safe to combine them.

I have very sensitive skin that frequently breaks out with new products and I haven't had a problem with this. I exfoliate with different masks/peels three times a week because I have a problem with cell turnover and skin congestion and use my clarisonic to cleanse daily. This product hasn't bothered me at all. Best of luck!

i love the perricone line and just tried a sample of the vitamin c ester last night! this stuff works!! however, i am wondering if I use this with the high potency evening repair?? i know this would go on first then a moisturizer but i didnt know if i am supposed to use this in conjunction with the HP evening repair as well?? thanks!
