Question
Compared to Josie Maran Argan Oil?
I'm using Josie Maran argan oil, and wondering if anyone has used both? Is this worth paying more than double of Josie Maran?? Thanks!

I've used the NUDE oil for about a month, and the Josie Maran oil for a few days, and I can say that while the Josie Maran oil makes my skin look "good", the NUDE oil makes my skin look AMAZING. I like both, but I would say that the NUDE oil is worth the price.

I have to add this..

I bought teh Argan oil to use on my face after tried in store.
Not loving it...but great for my hair and my cuticles.

Just got a sample of the ProGenius (recommended by a TOO FACED MUA). Over the last week I have been applying under eyes...AND
the creppyness that I have been trying to address is really starting to go away! I had some minor 'bumps' on my cheeks the night before I tried it for the first time...by morning they were gone.

Going to use up my sample and make a decision then.

I found NUDE ProGenius absorbs much better than Josie Maran, whichwas very heavy and took quite a while to absorb. My face felt oily after using Josie Maran while NUDEProGenius left my skin moisturized and balanced.

I agree that this product is better. I have been using a lot of high end skin care products and I find that this is has been the best purchase I have made in a very long time. It does wonders for fine lines, it plumps and moisturizes and a little goes a very long way. If you can tolerate it around your eye area I would even recommend using it under your eye cream. Use it under a facial moisturizer with hyaluronic acid (absorbs water and plumps up the skin) if you have dry/aging skin and you will see a real difference. It is AMAZING!!! I have started using Josie Maran for other areas of my body and in my hair since I came upon this as there is just no comparison.

I personally found that the Josie Maran oil clogged my pores, did not sink into my skin, and just generally was not a great product (I ended up using it in my hair as a decent substitute for Moroccan Oil). The ProGenius oil is anti-aging and sunk deep into my skin. I apply it before sleep, and when I wake up, my skin is brighter, more even, and smooth. It does an amazing job as acting like a filler and plumping up the lines around your mouth, on your forehead, and between your eyes. I highly recommend it, because although it is pricey, it saves you the cost of the seriously expensive anti-aging creams you would need to use in addition to the Josie Maran formulation.

Question
Anyone use this as a daily moisturizer?
Just wondering if this is too heavy to use during the day under primer and tinted moisturizer. Will it sink in or at least be muted by primer? Or does it stay on top and interfere with makeup? I use argan oil now and find that a little heavy for daytime use but i would love to use an oil for my dailey moisturizer rather than cream.

Personally, I wouldn't use it as a moisturizer on my face. It is too heavy for that. I have very dry skin and only put it on my neck and chest. Although not sticky or tacky, it does create a barrier on my skin that wouldn't work well with makeup.

For me I too noticed that it's a little too much for the day time under makeup. You can also apply it while your skin is a little damp so it will absorb faster into the skin. It will deffinately keep your skin moisturized and hydrated throughout the day!

My skin gets very oily throughout the day and I found that this product makes it even worse when I mix it with my moisturizer. I haven't tried it alone as a moisturizer because I don't like to go without SPF. On the other hand, this product works wonders as a nighttime moisturizer and I highly recommend it for that!

I use the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum in the morning and the ProGenius Treatment Oil at night. This has worked very well for my skin by giving it lots of hydration and someone commented today that the texture of my skin looks smoother. This oil is the only thing I've added/changed in my skincare routine so it has to be what helped! : )

Thank everyone for the answers... Have found my skin, though not seemingly dry, is absorbent enough to soak this stuff up within a 1/2 hour, so I use it first and wait until absorbed, then apply moisturizer. Other nights I use Retin-A Micro-gel so I need something like this to really add some hydration.
Thanks again for answering my question!

Question
Acne-prone skin, would this make it worse?
My skin is extremely oily, and from what I'm told, it's because it's dehydrated so it overproduces oil to compensate. One of the girls at my local Sephora recommended a facial oil to help balance things out.
I have very acne-prone skin though, and I'm worried this will make it worse. Has anyone here with acne tried this before?
I'd like to get the sample size with my points to try it. I'm thinking of using it overnight then sticking with my regular moisturizer during the day.

No. But with every product it also depends on the user's skin. I have combo skin and this did not break me out, or cause me to be greasy. In fact my skin was less greasy. Strange, but you should at least give it a try.

I totally hear you because I couldn't wrap my head around using an "oil" on my oily skin, but I too was told that my skins been dehydrated and is producing more oil because of it. I decided to take the advice given by the very nice associate at Sephora, and one of the estheticians I work with, and I'm glad I did. I have always had acne prone skin, and only since my mid 20's was it ever oily. I think all the years of harmful and stripping acne products disturbed the balance in my skin. From using this (night & day under moisturizer) and the Nude oil cleanser (night) and the Nude purifying daily cleanser with clarisonic brush(day), my skin is literally flawless. Even textured, radiant, smooth, poreless and dare I say OIL FREE! I never thought I'd see the day! I noticed a difference right away and have continued to have great results. I'm also using the purifying daily moisturizer and toning water. So I'd definitely give it a try. Good luck to you!

If you have oily skin you can use this in place of your moisturizer. I recommend using this at night only and your regular moisturizer in the morning. This is an essential oil so it acts as your body's natural oil thus it wont break you out or cause you to be more oily. This will also help balance your skin out if you have really oily skin.

I have oily skin as well and I am prone to breakouts, especially around my chin. I also break out fairly easily from products. I use this at night after I wash my face and don't put on anything else afterwards. In the morning my pimples are smaller and less red, and there are no new ones. My skin isn't oily and it is very even toned. I tried mixing it with my daytime moisterizer and it made my skin look very oily all day, so I wouldn't recommend using it during the day. However, using it at night as an overnight hydrating facial has worked amazingly for me and I highly recommend you at least get a sample of this and try it. I saw a difference after the first time using it! I hope this helps :)

You can use this day or night and I'd recommend to use it under your moisturizer. Whenever in doubt use your skincare products from thinnest consistency to thickest. Also, your moisturizer will help lock in the oil for longer hydration. If you have combination to oily skin you probably can just use this in place of a moisturizer.

Is this a pump or a dropper?
I love this product. I got a deluxe sample, but it's a pump and is really hard to control. So I was wondering is the real product a dropper or not. It's easier to control how many drops you'd like.

It is not a pump. If you look at the little 'bump' pictured on the top of the bottle you press on it and the oil is dispensed. It is an excellent delivery system for the product in my opinion as you can control how many drops and it is not wasted. I have used other oils and found that their delivery systems can get a little messy and the bottles can get a bit slippery but this one is great.

I've used the NUDE oil and Tarte oil, and I can say the NUDE oil is way way better. The Tarte oil is decent, and I think I may opt to use it on my body (since it's much cheaper) but the NUDE oil shows overnight/amazing results. The Tarte oil just delivers decent results (i.e. moisturizing and doesn't clog my pores), plus, it smells like cooking oil, while the NUDE oil has a lighter oil scent.

I like to use this oil in conjunction with my regular nightly moisturizer-I think the oil may your best option (because it's so concentrated and lasts forever). My skin is TERRIBLY dry in the winter and I've started seeing small wrinkles too. The more I use the oil, the better my skin looks.

Hi there, the $78 Bottle will probably last you at minimum about a year, maybe more. If you only use 2 small drops which is all you need, (maybe 3 if severely dry skin), it will take a very long time to go through the 1 oz. I have a tiny sample jar (approx 0.16 oz) that the associate at Sephora gave me and it lasted me about a month. I recently got a travel size bottle of .33oz and I think that will last me for quite some time. Don't worry you will definitely get you money's worth!

average drops per ml is 20 so based on that a 30 ml bottle should last 200 days if you are using 3 drops a day or 300 days if you are using 2 drops a day. i find 2 drops a day is plenty for me. i felt the same way but based on that i figure it should last quite a while,

I have had mine over two months and apply twice daily to face and neck and there is still a lot left in it (it is difficult to ascertain exactly how much but definitely more than half a bottle) and I use at least three to four drops per application. I find with this oil as opposed to the others I have used, that you don't need to use as much of it. It also mixes well with nightcreams and moisturizers if you add just a couple drops so that will help make it last longer.

I have always taken care of my skin and as a result I look 15 younger than my 48 years...but eventually hormones kick in and the cold drying New York weather doesn't help any. I tried the ProGenius treatment oil and it worked miracles on the fine lines on my forehead. They're practically invisible now....Nothing was working and after using both of the small samples I received (one week of use) I am running out to sephora tomorrow to buy the oil. I don't have any more and I'm afraid the lines be noticeable again. I cannot comment on the other product (Marula) you mentioned, but I do know from personal experience that the ProGenius works.
