Questions & Answers for St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Self Tan Dark Bronzing Lotion

Question
How DARK compared to the original?
I've used tons of self-tanners. Cheap, dept. store and even this brand. One thing they ALL have in common on me is that they ALL are way too light (esp for all the work and $ that goes into self tanning) on my skin. I am light-med olive...will this JUST look sunkissed after the color guard is washed off or will it actually look like I've "tanned"? Thanks 4 any helpful info!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I am so glad I bought this instead of the Original. My skin sounds pretty similar to yours. I used two coats over two days and I got a beautiful, bronzed, vacation tan!

I recently tried this product and I would say its a bit darker that sunkissed...I would say its compareable to 3-4 applications of a gradual tanner...

I should warn you that this product goes on green and stays green until your morning shower.

If your good with applying an aerosol product, i recommend the sephora aerosol self tanner. Has a nice dark finish.

It's a tad darker than the original. I have medium skin tone and it works very well for me. No scary orange hue. The only thing unusual about this product is the green hue your skin will have after application. This will wash off immediately and will give you an even dark color that lasts. Don't be scared. But don't use this product if you're planning to go out immediately after application or people might think you're going to a costume party :)))

Question
Is this product safe to use on the face?
I think this product is for the body only but the other reviewers were saying they used it on their faces.

I used it on my face and I had absolutely no issues with it! I have oily skin and don't get me wrong, after a few hours my face felt like you could fry an egg on it but it didn't clog any pores or any of that!
