I use this to help fade my acne scars and I like it, but my skin's more sensitive too so I use it only a few times a week. If you want to be safe, try mixing it with a simple oil-free moisturizer at first until you build a tolerance to it.

YES! Seriously, this product saved my skin. I had terrible cystic acne and once it cleared up it left red scars underneath the skin which is the hardest to get rid of and I also had brown discoloration too, this cleared it all in a month. I use it at night and during the day I use Neutragena intensives anti wrinkle moisturizer, I use it because it has Retin-A and sunscreen which also really helps acne scars and discoloration. Try this combination, you won't regret it.

I tried it for my acne scars and I didn't see any difference except that my skin was soft.... I am trying the three little wonders by ole henriksen and so far I can tell a slight difference and it has only been a week, they say it takes time!

How does this work with a primer and liquid foundation on top? I just purchased PTR Clini Matte which does control the oil but does not work well with makeup.

This is pretty thick and sticky, I use it as a night treatment and not as a daily moisturizer. I've never tried it, though, so it may work, but I think it might be too thick for that. I still LOVE this product, though!

I use this in the morning under foundation and it works well for me, but it takes some time to fully absorb. I usually will dry my hair, or make the bed or get dressed or something between this and the foundation. I don't use a primer.

I have not had any problems at all applying make-up over this. It does not have any mattifying effects though, so if you're hoping for that, you might want to use a primer as well.

l would avoid the eyes. These products use a liberal amount of glycolic acid. Be safe rather than sorry.

I can't answer for sure, but I've been putting it around my eyes and it hasn't hurt them. Just make sure you don't get any in your eye. I sweated it into my eye this morning and the same tingle that happens on your skin turns into a burn when it hits your eye!

I answered the question "can one use the DDF day and night?" prematurely. I did ask a Sephora skin specialist this very question once I restarted my retin-a routine-that's 1% every other night. She said it was too much to use glycolic acid & retinoids together; too irritating for the thin skin of a post-menopausal complexion so I then switched to glycolic acid (DDF) only when not using retinoids. Sorry.

The DDF version of the Glycolic 10% Exfoliating Moisturizer was far superior to the PTR product. After a month of PTR I had no where near the result that 1 week of DDF did. It cleared my congested pores, evened my skin tone, erased my blackheads and gave me an overall refreshed complexion so I had more make-up free days. Worth the extra $.

I normally do not use both gycolic acid products and retinols at the same time. I use a retinol @ night 1-2 nights per week, and the glycolic product the rest of the time. I use a vitamin c product under my sunscreen daily, but feel that using retinols & glycolic products together can be too irritating for my skin.

A 30% glycolic peel has a ph of 3.0, so this is probably around a 4. It's tingly when applied, but that goes away
