I wear a lot of black and I use this deodorant / antiperspirant. It does not leave white marks in my experience, but the trick is to let the deodorant dry completely after applying and not to slather it on. Because it contains aluminum chlorohydrate which is an aluminum salt and aluminum salts are the ingredients in antiperspirants responsible for white residue left behind on clothing, this product is most likely capable of leaving white marks. Although I have not had this problem when using this product, if you were to apply too much, it could transfer onto your clothes.
Additionally, white marks on clothing are very different from antiperspirant staining, which is a result of the relatively high acidity of most antiperspirants reacting with the body's sweat and discoloring the clothing fibers. This is more likely to happen if you experience heavy perspiration.

It hasn't caused residue stains on any of my clothing.

Nope, but make sure to let it dry before you put your shirt on. I would wait at least 5 minutes to get dressed.

I have never noticed marks on black clothing, especially during the summer months. The deodorant goes on clear and stays clear. It is a liquid, not a gel so the consistency doesn't change when it dries.
