This product doesn't contain SLS. It has a soy-based lathering agent. SLS turns my hair to straw, and I can't use anything with it. This shampoo has been a great alternative.

I posted the above ingredients originally but after seeing the comment about different ingredients from the other poster, I looked at my bottle and my friend's and noticed there are different ingredient listings on the same shampoo! So, take my ingredients I listed above with a grain of salt! I am not sure why two bottles of the same shampoo have different ingredients unless as some point the formula was changed?? Sorry for the confusion (I am confused too!)!

I think I have a different set of ingredients than the previous poster. It is SLS free, but mine says it contains Sodium Coco-Sulfate.
