Questions & Answers for SEPHORA COLLECTION Herbal Rose Blotting Papers

Question
Why did the price of these go up and the number of sheets per package go down? Is there some significant improvement to the product?

I just got these in the mail and Sephora still sent me the 100-count package (even though my internet order was clearly the 50-count). So maybe they made a smaller package you can buy in-stores versus online. But otherwise, the two should be the same.

Sephora carries like five or six different types of these sheets BUT some packs only have 50 sheets and some have 100 sheets for the exact same price!! Definetly get the pack with 100 sheets so you get more for your money as the smaller pack does not work any better than the larger packs.

Sephora's new blotting papers do absorb better than the old ones. I have extremely oily skin, and with the old Sephora Collection Matte blotting papers, I had to use two or three sheets to mattify my face. With the new Sephora Collection blotting papers, I only need one to mattify my face. The size of both old and new papers seem to be the same, but the new papers are a bit more dense.

I hadn't noticed that. Bummer. I haven't seen a difference in the quality in the ones I purchased recently from the ones in the past from here. They do however seem to work better than cheaper brands I have tried.

Question
How many sheets in a pack?
The website description says 50 sheets per pack but the picture of the Vitamins C + E clearly lists 100 sheets. Also, the old packs used to be 100 sheets. Thanks in advance.

Several months ago, I bought two varieties. One had 100 sheets, the other had 50. My suspicion is that these blotting papers used to be sold in packs of 100, but have recently been changed to only having 50.

Question
Where are these made?
Could somebody that has these tell me where they are made? Thanks

I wish Sephora would include where each product is manufactured with the product info. Maybe they will in the future. :)

These blot up excess oil on your face during the day. Here's a travel tip: use toilet paper seat covers to do the same thing.

They do look like and are plain oil-blotting cotton sheets. but you are better off buying somewhere else or a different brand because these are sort of too tough and plasticky like. they are not soft at all.

My purchase was just the plain plastick-ey sheets. No powder, no residue. Very effective, but overpriced. Clean & Clear sheets at the drugstore are the same thing.

Question
What are the cooling mint blotting papers for?
I know the vitamin-C ones are for brightening/anti-aging, the matte for oil, tea tree to heal tired skin, lavender to sooth agitated skin, and the rejuvenating ones in the pink package for acne, but the cooling mint. What are they for?

The mint papers contain an invigorating formula that is cool to the touch. These papers also combat excess oil production.

They're just rose petal fragments, teeny tiny specs of rose petals, they give the papers a flecked appearance and add the the lovely scent, but you don't feel them at all.

This product is specifically designed to remove excess oil and is not designed to remove makeup. If you're looking for a great makeup remover, we recommend Lancôme's BI-FACIL - Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover: http://bit.ly/1jr0pXy
