Try doing this on the nozzle because it could just be clogged:

1) Remove nozzle and wipe excess make up off with paper towel.

2) Put the nozzle in a cup with water in it. (Not a lot, just so the nozzle may be submerged in it)

3) Heat the cup of water, with nozzle in it, in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds (No microwave? Then just hot water.)

4) Remove nozzle from water, and with a needle, or safety pin, put the needle in the small tube like thing that transfers the foundation to spray.

5) Clean it out and wipe it down as necessary. If it does not work the first time do it again but leave it in hot water longer.

There could be something wrong with the nozzle. If you take it back to the Sephora store they'll either fix the nozzle, get you a new one, or refund your money.

I did not have that problem when I used it. My guess is that the sprayer is clogged. Maybe run a little warm water over it? Good luck -- this stuff makes a mess!

I just bought mine and it came out just fine. That shouldn't happen. Especially for the price you paid. I would return it to Sephora. I love mine by the way!

No you do not need an accessory. You only need to spray it from the bottle, but if you are finding it is to dark for you if you buff it out with a blending brush or a beauty sponge should help.

To get the best results from this product, spray it on a brush first. With a brush, the look is amazing! Most of the complaints from people have been about the product getting in the hair and clothes, but they don't understand that you need to spray it on a brush first.

I have used the dior airbrush foundation. It is recommended that you spray the product on a foundation brush then buff it onto your face. This way it doesn't get in your eyebrows and eyelashes. The dior product is great, but super expensive and VERY full coverage.

I'm only guessing, but it looks like the sprayer is built into the bottle. According to the directions, you turn the spray nozzle at the top of the bottle to determine how much coverage you need. Hope this helps!

This makeup is fine for more mature women as it gives a glowing and radiant complexion that is not too dull or matte. The foundation is light and oil free and ranges in light sheer coverage to a full finish.

I haven't had that problem yet, but I wonder if it's like a can of hairspray? First try wiping the top where the hole iswth a cloth soaked in hot water. Then tip it upside down and see if it sprays (aim it in the sink or into a towel). If that doesn't work, try running hot water over the cap. this may dislodge dry foundation that may be blocking the flow. If this works for cans of hairspray it should work for a foundation spray.

I'm in Kansas City, MO and at the Sephora store they have a light/Ivory. It works perfect for me and my light skintone. I am fair with blonde hair and blue eyes. Buy a foundation brush when you get it. Spray it on the brush and apply to your face in small round motions. Let it dry for a minute after applying to let it sink in to your skin. I love this foundation simply because at the end of my long day, I am amazed at good my makeup still looks. Hope that helps!

In response to your first question this foundation only comes in darker shades starting at medium which is actually pretty tan. Sorry I wish there was a wider range of shades to accommodate fair skin. The answer to your next question is yes you can spray it directly to your face and you can blend, smudge, or buff with a brush or cosmetic sponge, and no you do not need to buy an expensive brush to achieve beautiful results. Lastly the Sephora Collection Instant Airbrush Makeup is very similar to the Dior Air Flash, they are both air brush makeups however they differ in price drastically $20 for Sephora versus $60 for Dior, they differ in ounces, and they differ in ingredients. Hope these answers are helpful!

The item on sale has a darker color. It has the same performance as the regular-priced item. I purchased the sale item and loved it. I have lighter skin but loved the medium color because it gave me a perfect tan color...I also own Dior Airbrush and when I co,pare it with sephora's I can say that they almost perform the same...Dior just last a bit longer on face( even without putting powder on). Both of them can make your skin flawless. You just have to be careful if your skin is dry as this formula mattifies your skin any bumps will be exaggerated. Hope this helps.

The medium shade has a stronger warm (more golden and yellow) based undertone, while the light has a more beige/pink tone. I would suggest you try the Light as you can always add a bit of bronzer or colored powder on top if you need to even the shade out more.

Question
Will this be offered in more colors in the future?
Hello,
I like this product but am bummed that it is only offered in a few shades. I have medium, olive toned skin. The Medium shade is to dark, and the Light Ivory is too light! There needs to be more options! I have used ERA Beauty Airbrush Foundation ($55) in the past, and Sephora's is similar in quality and coverage but ERA offers a color for just about everyone! Would love to see Sephora come out with more colors, because it IS a great product for the price!

In store they usually keep them in stock, so I would check there first. It wasn't in stock online for a month before I decided to just go to the mall. If you don't want to go to a Sephora store, or there isn't one nearby, subscribe to their alert to tell you when it is in stock. Then you can order it online.

One warning though, I would try the light color in store before you buy it-- it is kind of orange and is meant for people with slightly darker skin, even though it says light.

I bought a couple at $9 and the shade listed was 'medium'. Worried it might be too bronze in shade, I bought it any way. There are three settings on the top and I started with light and it was fine. I've even used medium when I need more coverage for a longer day and don't have time for touch ups. I don't even use as much bronzer with this product.
