Are these sponges more rubbery like liquid makeup application sponges, or are they more velvety/velour, like powder applicators that come with most compacts?

answer 2
I'd say they're in between. They can be used for foundation, but I've been using them to apply pressed powder and they're perfect for that as well! Do not have a rubbery feel at all.

Question
Do these sponges contain latex?
I have a very sensitive allergy to latex. My skin is somewhat acneic & oily r/t long-term inhaled corticosteroids for asthma control. Would like to know if these sponges have latex or not and for future reference it would be nice if products were more clearly labelled as to whether or not they were latex-free. There are a lot of folks out there w/latex allergies. I am a somewhat frequent customer of Sephora...gotta have my beauty fix [LOL ;)] and would like to see this happen.

Question
Sponges in Sephora powder compact?
Are these the same sponges that are included in Sephora's "mineral foundation compact"? (The sponge that comes with the compact is dual sided: one side is black for more coverage and the other side is white for lighter coverage.) I am wondering if I can purchase these as replacement sponges, but I would like to buy the same kind that is included in the compact. Thanks
