answer 1
I fit all my naked pallets in the bottom of it. The top shelves are better utilized for smaller things. But you could fit a naked pallet on each side of the top if you really wanted to.

Locks?
Does anyone know how durable the lock is? I live with roommates and need to know if it's able to resist picking/breaking.

I guess it depends. I have not had any issues, and I am locking my 20 year old step daughter out of it, who loves to use my stuff. She has not broken in yet. The only way to break in would be to break it. Unless your roommates don't care if they break your stuff.. You should be okay

answer 2
No, the locks are kind of pointless, maybe they help them from popping open during travel, but if your roommates want to get in to these, they totally will

The lock is relatively durable, it is around the same strength as a small safe lock.

This would depend on the size of your old train case, how much makeup you have, and/or how much of your makeup have yet to fit in the other train case. A possible solution is to use the second train case to supplement rather than replace entirely your storage by one single unit. I ended up keeping my original plastic caboodle to store lipsticks, eyeliners, nail polish and separate eyeshadow pots separate that I don't use often from my main train case.

Question
Can I find this in stores, rather than online?
I REAAAALLY NEED THIS. I'm not familiar with online shopping, and I don't trust it. Sometimes, I'll see a product that's considered to be exclusive online.. But will find it in stores.
