Questions & Answers for Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

Question
Which is better - Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner or Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner Pen?
I've used the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner Pen for quite some time now. I find that it does in fact stay for most of the day but tends to smudge by the end of the day and has a very satin finish.

Has anyone used both eyeliners and if so, which would you suggest for longest wear time without smudging?

STILA is better simply because eyeko dries out. I'm positive the only reason people are saying eyeko is because theirs didn't dry out yet. If you read eyeko reviews, you will notice that MANY people have experienced this problem. Mine was dried out the first time i used it, and for most people this happened within one week. I'm sure if mine wasn't completely dried out I would have liked it, but now there is no comparison. The STILA works very well, is long lasting and does the job.

I would say the stila eyeliner pen, But this is also a great option. Eyeko liner tends to dry out a bit fast. But if you go with the eyeko eyeliner, to keep it from going dry i put a few drops on the tip test it on my hand and then continue my liner. It really works! Also i think this eyeliner is easier to use!

Stila's is MUCH BETTER than eyeko's. With Stila, you can achieve that clean, precise line in 1 swipe. With eyeko, the ink isn't as rich and pigmented so you have to go over it a few times--it's like using a dried out marker. I have the eyeko liner in 2 different colors, and I am experiencing this problem with both of the pens.

Eyeko - stays on longer and doesn't come off. The other one bleeds (one me at least, I have oily lids)

Personally, I think Eyeko is better. I encountered the same problem with the Stila eyeliner. Eyeko also has a more glossy finish,

Eyeko does not smudge. It lasts all day and night. I like it better than any other liquid liner I have tried.

I have used both liners, in general I prefer eyeko, it lasts longer, applies better, smudges less, and doesn't run out as quickly. I've tried about a dozen liners in the 15-30 dollar range, and this is the best I have found so far.

EYEKO - no question. I was using the STILA until I found this and it is my "go to" eyeliner. Goes on fluidly and stays all day. bought for my friend in Italy and she has now switched

Question
How fast does it dry out?
Many people says this product dries out quickly, but how quickly, within a week, month or couple days? When did you start noticing it wasn't working as efficiently? I wanna buy this but if it dries out within a couple days...

There's no way this would last a year if you're using it every day. I use it every day and one tube lasts an average of about a month. I've been using the brand for a while and I've found that sometimes I get a tube that is dry to start. . .if that's the case, I return it right away because I know it's just going to get worse. Good advice to store it vertical with the tip down.

I was previously using a sample size and it lasted me about 4-5ish months, using it everyday. I just purchased the full size. It's a great eyeliner and will last you some time as long as you recap it properly. Worth the price!

It was fine for about a month, and then application got a little less smooth as time went on. I think I've had mine for about three months, though, and I'm only now replacing it with another product.

It definitely doesn't dry out in a few days- I don't think it would dry out in a month, either. It really depends how often you use it, and how much you use. Using a very thin line every day, it would probably dry out in around a year.

Question
Is this a good product for people with monolids?
I have really oily eyelids and I also have monolids that tend to rub my eyeliner off during the day, even with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. Would this eyeliner work for me?

Have you tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance? I too have extremely oily eyelids. If I ever wore eyeshadow or Eyeliner it would literally be gone in a few hours and melt away. I haven't had any issues with the Eyeko eyeliner. I've found it stays all day. You should really give the Too Faced Shadow Insurance a go! It has worked wonders. A little goes a long way and it's like glue! My eyeshadow and eyeliner are one of the few things left on my face at the end of the day.

This product is amazing and would probably be great for you. It does not rub off and does not run. However, it can be easily removed with soap and water. I've searched for a liquid liner that won't run during the day and I have allergies that make my eyes watery and I use to look like a mess by the end of the day but not with this liner!

How should I store this eyeliner?
I've read some reviews about the eyeliner drying out. Is there any way I should be storing it to get the longest life out of this eyeliner? Should I store it on its side, or upright with the tip facing up or down?

Store it in a make-up bag away from the sun and heat exposure. The number one thing is to make sure the cap is on securely when you put it away, otherwise it will dry out.

As long as you keep the cap on tightly and keep the liner in a cool dry area, you should not have an issue with drying but it is bound to happen over time. Try keeping the liner standing straight up or enclosed in a train case.

If you're interested in saving time/hassle/money, avoid the Eyeko eyeliner at all costs!

My black Eyeko eyeliner dried out to a light grey tint after one week. I initially thought it was just me. But, after seeing waves of beauty blogs/forums that echoed my experience, I knew I wasn't alone.

Why is Sephora even selling this?

Sometimes it is worth investing in an eyeliner that will LAST, like your Hourglass liner. This product may be cheaper, but the quality is pretty cheap as well and is not worth it.

It's pretty awful. Granted I've only tried one pen, but the experience was bad enough that I'd say go look at urban decay's liquid eyeliners instead. For me, it dragged nastily and stopped working after I'd only lined one eye.
