I have a few sephora eye shadows aside from this palette. In my experience the quality is fairly high, especially for the price. I definitely like the matte shadows from sephora much better though; I think that the matte ones are very pigmented and long lasting but a lot of the more shimmery ones don't have a lot of pigment to them.

I personally don't prefer sparkly eye shadows in general though, so it might be my personal bias

Is it like the cheap eyeshadows?

I've had experience where I bought eye shadow, but it ended up looking really cheap. I mean the colors looked cool in the palette, but when you put it on it was SOOOOO faint (you had to put 10xs the amount you thought you needed, and about 10 seconds later it was already off again). Is it also like the cheap shiny version? Cause the cheap palettes look like colorful glitter and it's SOOOOOO annoying. Are these actual colors? Or are they like colorful glitter? Thank you so much! :)

It's been my experience that as long as you use a good primer on your lids, you can turn any "cheap" eyeshadow into a "expensive" shadow in terms of pigment density and longevity. This palette is the same - not the best quality I've ever used, but definitely not the worst. With regards to this palette, the color payout is great, for the most part. The truest to form are the shimmers, then the mattes. The colors with the larger glitter particles are my least favorite out of this kit because I do feel they apply faintly in comparison. The palest colors can be really sheer upon application, but I was able to get the results on the box cover several times.
