I use this product at night. First, I cleans, let my face dry and them apply. Once my face is dry again, I use Philosophy products. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any problems. Hope this helps.

I layer with Bliss moisturizer with SPF during daytime usage - no problem at all! But I find it more effective at nights by itself.

Question
does this diminish blackheads?
i am looking for a great peel that takes care of post-acne hyperpigmentation and that exfoliates the skin. however, i'd love to know if this makes any difference for blackheads; i'm trying to decide between this and ren, which has a glycolic peel that takes care of both the brightening (though apparently not quite as effectively) and the blackhead situation.

As a Master Aesthetician, I recommend you seek professional advice. Guessing, combining products, and trying to treat your skin conditions at home can actually cause more damage. At-home products are mistakenly called "peels" when they are really only going to exfoliate the skin. What people don't understand, is that It's very easy to over-exfoliate, which can irritate, dry and damage the skin's protective barrier, adding more problems on top of the ones you're looking to correct, including hyperpigmentation and pre-mature aging.

This product is not okay to use for rosacea. It says so at the bottom of the "how to" tab, by the product description area of the page.

As an Esthetician, I recommend caution with layering or combining products, unless they are specifically formulated and sold as companion treatments. Glycolic acid and other AHA's are best left to licensed skin professionals, and should be used with caution, as the skin's inflammatory response actually starts a domino effect of damage and even hyperpigmentation.

Question
Compare to Philosophy's ?
I just tried Philosphy's pads. I am familiar with Philosphy's, but not with Bliss. I want to know if my junkie friends have tried both. Or even put against the Brazilian peel or any other at home peels.
