Faux Lash Mascara

Faux Lash Mascara

What it is: A luxurious, long-wearing mascara created specifically to give eyes the look of false lashes. What it does: As a renowned makeup artist, Laura Mercier really knows the dramatic impact of false lashes. With that in mind, she created her latest mascara to give real lashes extreme volume and length for intense exaggeration and drama. Formulated with a blend of waxes, not fibers, it delivers an even, glossy finish with buildable volume that lasts for up to 10 hours. What else you need to know:This formula is non-drying, non-irritating, fragrance-, transfer- and smudge-free. It is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for contact lens wearers.

Is it waterproof and easy to remove?

It is not waterproof and is easy to remove. I just go over my lashes with my mild face wash when I'm washing my face and it washes right off.

answer 2
For me it reacts like a good waterproof mascara in that it doesn't give me a black ring but also it doesn't harden to a brittle finish when it dries which I love unlike most waterproof mascaras.

Does the mascara curl lashes?
I am wondering if this mascara curls lashes, and how does it compare to benefit bad gal lash mascara? (the brushes look similar)

Not really great for curling, if that's what you are looking for in a mascara (especially so you don't need to use a curler) I would recommend Dior Iconic mascara. The proteins in that mascara will curl your lashes.

I would say that on me, the Faux Lash makes my lashes stand up so they look super long rather than curly. I don't use an eyelash curler, but sometimes I gently press my lashes with my fingers once they have mascara on them to encourage them to stick up. However, my best friend has the same mascara, and it makes her lashes super curly. I'm happy with my lashes standing up rather than sticking straight out since they are more visible that way. I love how this mascara makes my eyes look. As far as Benefit's mascara goes, I've only tried samples of Bad Girl Lash, and it wasn't a good fit for me, lash-wise. It really didn't help my lashes, and I didn't care for it. I would take this Laura Mercier one over the Benefit one any day. I used to use a different Laura Mercier mascara, but found this one to be superior to that (Full Blown, I think), which I thought was pretty good at the time! I hope that helps a bit!
