No, there are pockets inside the bag. However, it has enough space to put mascara, face power, eyeliner, lipstick, lip gloss, and any cards.

Hi, there are no pockets inside the bag but there is a small one on the outside with a zipper closure.

what's the approximate size of the bag? AND can you see the purple on the outside through the gold?
it seems like the bag is kind of small and very gold. can you fit larger items, like a compact and brush, in the bag?
