Questions & Answers for Tarte Clean Slate 360° Creaseless 12-Hr Smoothing Eye Primer

Question
Product suitable for dry skin?
I'm asian, over 60, who is looking for a good eye primer to help prevent my black eyeliner from smearing after my workouts. Also, can you recommend a good black eyeliner that goes on smoothly, doesn't tug my eyelids, can be smudge for a smokey eye look, but doesn't smear off during workouts? My skin tone is light/medium, with yellow undertones, & is dry.

The product goes on really smoothly and I think it would work fine on dry skin. Regarding the black eyeliner, I think the tarte Amazonian clay waterproof liner would be great. I haven't tried the black but have it in a few other colors. You can smudge them out for a smokey look and they do not budge at all after they set. They are perfect to wear if you are working out or sweating. I also really like the Clinique brand of gel liner in black. It is a really dark, rich black. This liner is better if you want a fine, clean line (vs. smokey). Good luck!

It looks a bit white, so I am careful to not be overzealous when I use it. Just use enough to finely coat your eyelids and no more.

I think it's a very light tan. It seems see-through but I have light skin so it may look different on darker skin.

Yes, this product is true to its name. Your eyelids will stay creaseless. I have such oily eye lids but this primer completely corrects that.

I personally think its better. It doesn't feel greasy and it works much better than the UD primer. I have combination skin along with oily eye kids and this is the only product that works for me. I even put it on the middle of my brows and it prevents oil from even showing up.

I prefer the Tarte primer because the texture is smoother and lighter. I found that the Urban Decay did not blend as smoothly and evenly.

It's better. It is not as watery/oily as the primer potion. This also works well under the eyes, too.

Question
Looking for primer that tightens eye lid skin...
I am looking for a primer for my eyelids that really does smooth the upper eyelid so that shadow application shows no wrinkles or crepe looking skin. Does that make any sense? Older gals will understand! Suggestions? Does this one (Clean Slate 360) really do that? Any others you can recommend?

YES! I use this product daily and gave tried numerous other eyeshadow primers . I love this because it doesn't make your eyelids greasy AND it doesn't have any unwanted color to it. A little dot will do each lid.

I usually have trouble with eyeshadow collecting in the creases on my eyelid. The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer works great at preventing that. I also think it makes the eyeshadow look better.

This gives you a smoother under eye area to apply your concealer and you don't seem to need as much concealer which would end up in creases.
