Smudge proof. I wore it snow skiing in a storm. No smudge.

absolutely not. It smeared within one hour for me , and I no longer wear contact lenses. save your money. since you are willing to shell out big bucks for mascara, I suggest Chanel's waterproof mascara. It costs $30, but it's worth every penny. Didn't budge during the heat and humidity of 100+ degrees, stayed true during downpours, and survived cooling sprinklers.

For me, at least, this mascara was definitely NOT waterproof, non-smudging or non-clumping. However, you might want to consider mascaras that aren't actually labelled "waterproof", unless you're planning to go swimming w/a full face of makeup, in which case you should check out tarte's new maracuja oil foundation b/c it truly stays put! The two mascaras I use the most (tarte & Buxom) don't claim to be waterproof, BUT they withstand watery eyes & even a few tears surprisingly well, so you might not need a waterproof mascara as much as you think you do -- I certainly didn't! If you find you really do need a mascara that's actually waterproof, you might want to try one of the newer "tubing technology" mascaras, like Becca's Ultimate or DHC's Perfect Pro, since they are made to stay on until you massage them off, yet are still gentle. A lot of the waterproof mascaras out there are not only unnecessary for most women's daily needs, but also contain ingredients that are harsh on your lashes &/or eyes. Hope that helps!

It IS smudge proof. I know from experience it is at the very least tear-proof. I also have straight lashes. I have found that by bending my head back as far as possible while applying Lash Perfection Gel, I will get a more curl or bend in my lashes that lasts all day.

In my opinion this is very long lasting, without smudges!
answer 7
This mascara made my curled lashes droop. I have very fine straight lashes that have to be curled. This is not the mascara for anyone who has the same lash issues. Very clumpy and smudgy despite what the description says.
