It does give immediate color, so I wouldn't say it's a gradual tan. The shimmer will shower away, but the tan-effects last a bit longer. The tan is very subtle, as is the shimmer.

This will definatley wash off with a shower. I put it on top of my hands and just rinsing them under the faucet doesn't take it all off. Showering will and it does tend to rub off on your clothing... that being said, it is still a great product and gives you plenty of color.

Question
is this a spray?
The can/bottle via pic is hard to tell if this is a spray like an aerosol can or more of a sprits type spray or is UT not a 'spray' At all??? Maybe its more something you must really rub into each area???

I need to find prefect one I can spray on full body of insanely dry skin(after a shower or just during the day) that I can just easily do a 'spraying mist' let it soak n then go type....
Rubbing n Pat drying (some streak etc) dont work for Me .
*was In car accident, I still wanna look good but need easiest way to do so.

It's not a spray. It's actually a little hard to apply because you pour it into your hands.

It is just an open top..basically I have to pour it in my hand and rub on my legs or dab on my legs from the bottle. I wish it was a spray! Still, it is worth it!

Hi There,

This product is not a spray and has a control top that controls the amount that pours out of the container.

Question
Does this really work?
Okay. So I have a wedding in 3 weeks. I heard about this product and I thought perfect for my wintery white legs. My only concern is with a lot of self tanners is the streaking, the transferring off onto clothes and of course becoming orange. I want it to look natural and nice in photos without looking like I am the next cast member on Jersey Shore. Please somebody help me (I have read so many mixed reviews) !!!

It is not orange at all, and you can avoid streaks by blending quickly and thoroughly (it gets more difficult to spread it around after it dries.). Try applying a scent-free moisture lotion beforehand so it blends easier. I think it would look pretty in photos.

I have pale legs. I've experienced no streaking. This is a wonderful product. Just make sure you apply in a well-lit room (natural light is best). You will perhaps want to wash your hands quickly, but as far as bronzers go, I wouldn't hesitate to use this for my wedding day!

Question
Color
Does anyone know how the color of this actually comes out on fair skin? I have tried MANY MANY bronzers, only to have my husband to tell me I look like an oompa lumpa from Charlie & the Chocolate factory I am so orange! I live in Hawaii but don't do the "tanning" thing anymore & of course I want to look like I have some color! Thanks

This bronzer has beautiful coloring to it and looks vey pretty once on. I use it on my body because I don't tan either and I am very comfortable in it. It is an oil so you have to let it dry somewhat, (just a couple of minutes). Be aware however that it will rub off on your clothing after a while. I wouldn't recommend wearing anything white or light when you have this on. It can have a gold glimmer effect once on, but just take a napkin or paper towel and rub it on your skin after it dries. For nighttime it is gorgeous. Have fun!

depends on how fair you are, i suppose. if you're moderately fair as opposed to very fair, i feel it would be fine. its definitely buildable color. if you feel that its too dark you could always mix it with a moisturizer or SPF to thin it out a bit. its beautiful on everyone i've seen it on though.

I feel like it contains a good amount of color. I applied it to one arm and compared to the other one and the one with the product looked tan and more even. It is definitely shimmery too, though.

Not really bronzing..will just enhance someone who has a tan already. On my fair skin it just looked orangey with too much shimmer.

I use it on my face, neck and the rest of my body. It does have oil in it so it will look shiny, but I have never had a break-out from it and I have super sensitive skin! Just blot it after you put it on (let it dry first-a couple of minutes) Looks very pretty especially at night!

Royal Oil is a body bronzer. We do not recommend using this product on your face. Check out our bronzers - we have a variety of shimmery to matte bronzes for whichever effect you desire.

Yep, you can definitely wash it off. If your skin is dry, it soaks in more, so you'll have to scrub a little harder.
