Questions & Answers for Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo

Question
Should this product be used with a bronzer as well?
I am new to using face make up and wondering since I just bought the Too Faced Snow Bunny bronzer if this would be a good product to work with it as well? Do you wear bronzer and illuminator together?

I do. I tend to like a more dramatic look when applying makeup. Use your bronzer as normal then just swipe some highlighter on your cheekbone and brow bone after. A fluffy brush with a light amount is all you will need.

Yes. I had my makeup done professionally at Sephora so I could learn how to do it for my wedding. First use a little blush on the apples of your cheeks/cheek bones.. then use bronzer all over your face where you would naturally tan (cheeks, jaw bones, forehead, sides of face, etc.) because when you put on foundation, the same color all over your face doesn't look right. Once you put the bronzer on, then apply the highlighter in a '3' shape on each side of your face (across your forehead and in to your high cheekbones, then around your jawbone) Repeat on opposite side. Once complete do not redip brush, brush down your nose and then a little over your lip to give the perfect glow.

Sure, you can wear this with bronzer. Apply bronzer lightly to your face in the areas where the sun would naturally hit it. Your forehead, bridge or your nose and sweep up your cheeks. This highlighter is awesome too and I use it all the time. Very lightly dust the highlighter at the apples of your cheeks and under your eyes, the bridge of your nose, and your cupid's bow (the little curve above your lip) and your face will look bright and rested.

I believe this is a kind of 2 in 1 where you can use one side as a blush and the other as a highlighter or both combined as a highlight also. So no, they are different.

Yes, the gold color is the same as the original. I prefer this combination, seems to "glow" more vs. shimmer... by adding the 'pink' color seems to tone down the GOLD, but you can still custom the coloring... hope this helps... ; )

I'm not too sure if it's the same as in the candlelight. But! I highly recommend you buy it because it works WONDER! it really highlights my face, but doesn't make it too shiny for me either. If you are looking for something that makes your face really shiny, then it's probably not for you. I hope this helps. <3

A large blush, bronzer, or powder brush works the best. It has to be something fluffy or i will apply to much product and you dont want to overn do it. I hope this helps you!

A quick swipe on the check bone is all that is needes. I use a fluffy brush from hairline out to where ever you want the highlight to end. Use a little on the outer edge under your eyebrow as well. Mixing the colors in process may have the best results for cheekbones though. The pale color has a golden highlight while the pink has a more muted tone. It may look like too much when you put it on initially but really it works out fantastic in natural light.

We'd recommend using this product with a fan brush or even a rounded foundation brush for optimal results.

We recommend applying around brown and cheek bones, along bridge of nose, and Cupid’s bow to contour the most flattering angles of the face. Use each shade separately for either brightening or warming, or swirled together to warm and brighten the complexion.

Not the too faced candlelight. It is not natural and dewy. More like glittery and metallic. I recommend the Becca highlighter in Moonstone or Opal.

Question
Is this the same/comparable to shimmer veil?
I received a Too Faced Naked Palette 500 point perk a few months ago that has in it a highlighter called "Shimmer Veil," but it seems to be discontinued. Does anyone know if this is the same thing?

It could be used for that. I would use the white though rather then the pink unless you wanted the pink tone. But both colors are very light mostly just shimmer
