ALTERNA Caviar Clinical Daily Root & Scalp Stimulator

What it is: A daily leave-in scalp treatment for fine, thinning, fragile hair. What it does: This leave-in treatment helps stimulate the scalp with an energizing mix of vitamins and nutrients, allowing healthier, thicker-looking hair to surface. It creates a natural defense against DHT build-up, excess sebum, and other residues known to clog follicles, resulting in excess hair loss and thinning. The formula also helps to soothe dry, tight scalp without weighing hair down. Formulated with Red Clover Growth Complex, this key ingredient encourages naturally thicker, fuller, stronger hair that looks and feels denser from the inside out. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- Triclosan

It is only designed for the roots and scalp, so I would not use it for detangling. I am not sure it would work for that either.

What does this product smell like?
So I have been reading about this product and the detoxifying shampoo and the reviews on the shampoo says that it smells minty which I am not a fan of. Does this smell minty too or is it different?

No minty smell, maybe a mild herbal smell, I may be so used to it I do not notice it.

This product needs time but it works, START using this and you will be happy by the end of the bottle.

I bought this product because my scalp was becoming very dry from coloring my hair. I also noticed some irritation and a lot of shedding. This product really helped clear up those issues. Definitely worth a try.

Question
Will this product make my hair GROW OUT thicker?
I'm looking for a product that will make my thin, fine hair GROW OUT thicker, or make more hair grow.
Will this product deliver those results?
Or is it just made to MAKE the hair look thicker, without actually making the hair thicker.

I have the same goals you have. I have been using the product for only 2 weeks and am experiencing some improvement. When I spoke to the Customer Service they told me to use only one bottle and see what happens. Instead I ordered 3 more bottles and hope to see a better growth because it is cleaning the hair follicle and hopefully will improve the thickness of the hair. I will be reviewing the product again in 3 months.

Question
What if you don't wash your hair every day?
I am wondering if this might not be the right product for people who do not wash their hair every day. I try to only wash my hair twice a week as I have dry, fine, highlighted hair. I like the idea behind this, but has anyone else had good experience using this every day without washing out for a few days? It just seems to me like it would cause a lot of build-up/oily-ness on the scalp unless you were washing your hair every day.
