waterproof?
I wanted to know if the Too Faced Better than False Lashes mascara is waterproof. I have allergies so my eyes water a lot and I have to wear waterproof mascara. Will this one work for me?

If your eyes water a lot, I wouldn't wear this mascara. I do always add a top coat of my mascara along with this. But whenever I shower after it comes off easily.

I have tear gland problems and allergies as well, and this mascara stays on. It's not waterproof by label, but it's super durable because of the nylon fibers and withstands watery eyes. Just don't wear it on bottom lashes and you'll be fine.

I would say it's water-resistant. Don't go swimming in it, but it seriously does not budge or move unless you remove it on purpose with hot water and foaming cleanser.

It is black in color. You apply the first base coat which is black, then white nylon fibers, then the black again. So for a moment it does look white in appearance but when all said and done it is black.

I suggest you to use whatever you usally use to remove your eye makeup. Try an oil based eye makeup remover so your eye doesnt feel so dry after all that rubbing and wiping. I used simple face wash and then a makeup remover towelette to finish it off.

Can anyone use a lash seperator with this?
Im having a problem using a lash seperator with this product. Am I not supposed to be using one?

I would definetely reccomend using a lash seperater for this product because you cant really control where the fibers sit you can only hope you get it right the first time LOL. Using a lash seperater before and after you apply the MASCARA will help everything come together very nicely. :) Good luck

I use a pair of tweezers to seperate my lashes that are clumped together. But to be honest, I don't have that problem too often with the brush that comes with this mascara :)

I used a little plastic toothpick to separate and direct the flare. It does work for me even after it's dry, but you have to be careful not to pull the mascara off and very careful not to poke your eyes.

I have contacts and I wore this mascara all night and nothing bad happened to my eyes. The worst case senario would be that when applying the lash fibers, some could get into your eye or contact, but that could happen with an ordinary mascara. I would say that it's safe to wear with contacts. :)

Hi there! Yes, you should be able to remove Better Than False Lashes along with the rest of your makeup. Just remember to minimize tugging by always “wiping” your lashes in the same direction. Soap and water will do the trick.

I haven't had any problem with my contacts, however I would apply the contacts AFTER the mascara, only because the fibers in the white tube are very small and I wouldn't want to accidentally get them in my contacts. Once you apply the 2nd coat of the mascara (step 3) there aren't any white fibers on your lashes and it is safe to put your contacts on. That's just my experience, at least.

I wear contacts and I didn't have any problems wearing this mascara. If I happened to fall asleep in it and get any flakes in my eyes, there was some stinging (slightly more than with regular mascara), but that's my own fault. It doesn't flake during normal wear.

Yes, I wear contacts and I was a bit concerned about this as well. I have had no problems at all. The base coat (mascara) portion that you apply first seems to act as glue and the fibers stick very well thus not falling into your eyes.

If by work you mean, make your lashes look slightly longer, then I guess so. But they are stiff and don't look good, and don't look like the rest of your lashes. I think you are better off with a good mascara or false lashes.

Yes, this product really does make your lashes look a LOT longer because of the fibers. The only thing I found that was an issue was the formula took longer than usual to dry, and it tends to get sticky-meaning lashes sticking together.
You might have better luck, but be warned of the potential sticky situation.
Yes, you can return it if you arent satisfied.
