Yes, I would recommend using a moisturizer under this product. I believe this product's highest & best use is as both a primer and foundation.

This depends on your skin type. I have rather dry skin and do use a moisturizer underneath. My advice is to try it out by itself first and then adjust by adding a light moisturizer if needed. If that is still insufficient, exchange the light moisturizer for a richer one. Hope this helps.

if you have dry skin, yes. All my dry skinned friends need it. If you have oily skin then no, absolutely not :P I have to wash my face before applying and not put on anything else. I've noticed a huge difference in the beauty of my skin. Its only been a month and its brighter, doesn't break out almost at all, and the tone is completely even and my smile lines are completely gone. I'm only 22 years old and theres a dramatic difference.

I use a BB Cream as an all in one facial product to provide SPF and medium natural facial coverage.
On 'natural' days I wear it alone.
On work days I still add under eye concealer or brightener.
On nights out And special occasions I add under eye corrector, concealer and foundation on my nose only, then apply blush and bronzer.

It's easy to apply by hand or with a foundation brush and you can totally wear your bare minerals over it for additional coverage.

I used it as a foundation. It has a lovely finish. If you use Bare Minerals, you may simply want to use a light dusting of their finishing powder if you think you need it.

I wear it as a foundation and a moisturizer. I wash, then apply a serum, then apply this BB cream. It's better than the other BBs that I've tried (and I've tried a lot). It's not a full coverage foundation, though. If you need more coverage, you certainly can try using mineral powders on top of it. If I need to, I use NARS or Makeup Forever powders on top, and it's great. Go get a sample if you can!

This product is ok for oily skin. You still should be a translucent powder on top to help with oil control. This is not meant for coverage. It's more for skin care. You should still use a mineral foundation or liquid foundation for coverage. If you have great skin but just have problems with skin tone, this is a great product. Otherwise you may want to try other alternatives.

Hey girl, i also have light oily skin. It is amazing, just use a light cleanser on your face, put it on, and then throw on either a mineral veil or a mineral powder. (I prefer either bare minerals original for a dewy look, but i use bare minerals matte on hot days where i will be sweating) I work a 12 hour shift and i only have to blot after about 8-10 hours without having to reapply (boscia blotters pick up the most oil I've been noticing). and it really has flexible color, I can use it on my fair skin and it matches beautifully and i can also use it on my hubbys really dark forearm and it still matches. Even he was impressed. :P

No. Dr. Brandt's Pores no More takes care of targeting pores and instantly reduces their size, but the BB Cream had absolutely no effect on pore size (on me). It's another reason I'm disappointed in the product overall.

Question
Shake well??
Instructions say to shake well before applying! How does that happen in a tubed cream? (Not possible at all with the 2 other BB creams I have gotten at Sephora.) If it needs to be regularly re-mixed, this is a product that should not be in a tube but rather in a pump bottle.

There was enough room in the bottle to shake the product a little, and it's not super-thick so it seems to move around when it is shaken

answer 2
You MUST shake it. There's natural ingredients that separate the product. You should always shake it even when you first buy it and using it for the first time. If you do not shake it, it will change the consistancy of the product and may not give you ALL of the benefits it promises. Good luck. I use this and it's an ok product.

It breaks apart, even in a tube, and ingredients separate. I forgot to shake the first time and I got a blob of product surrounded by what looked like water. Shook it up and next squirt was as it should be.

answer 3
I don't think it contains a whitener. I've used it for a while and it's not as strong as a real Asian BB. It makes my skin feel great, doesn't clog pores as many do, and my skin does seem brighter, as if I'd used a Vitamin C product, but not pastey as the whiteners make it. Samples of it are fairly easy to come by, so you might want to try before you buy.

BB cream (aka Beauty Balm) is known to be a foundation with skincare benefits such as anti-aging, brightening, firming, sun protection, and toning. Some beauty balms are translucent and some are tinted, so be careful when picking one out depending on what you want. The Flexitone BB Cream is actually one of Sephoras more popular ones and is rarely on the shelves in the stores as they keep running out. I personally LOVE this one. Another well talked about bb cream is Boscia's BB cream, but I haven't tried that yet, so you could check the reviews on that.
