I'm very acne prone as well with combination skin - this hasn't caused any breakouts for me.

I would so go ahead and buy this. I have always had a problem with acne as I have combination/acne-prone skin, even now at 36. I have slept in this foundation a few times and, miraculously, my skin has not been a complete disaster the next day. That has never happened before - every foundation seems to irritate my skin and cause breakouts. Not this amazing stuff!

I think (like most products) it depends on the kind of skin you have and what types of ingredients you may be sensitive to.

For me personally, this product was a no-go. I have combination/oily skin and while I don't break out with severe acne a lot, i have a problem with blackheads and my pores always being clogged.

This product only exacerbated the oil issue for me. It goes on matte, but my face was SUPER oily by the end of the day, only contributing to my problem with my pores.

Even if a product claims to be non-acnegenic and/or non-comedogenic, that doesn't mean YOUR skin will not break out from it.
The only way to find out is to first determine which ingredients are problematic for your skin (thru trial and error, sadly) or to just use it and see what happens.

I received the sample and really love the product but I've used it 3 times and I've started getting small pimples on my cheeks. I normally only break out in my T-zone.
I came back to the website to see about ingredients. I was hoping it had a retinol or something known to cause initial breakouts but clears up and leaves behind better skin. No luck. I don't see retinal in the ingredients.

Yes! You may still need a dot of concealer ( I do on some of my darker spots) but it does a GREAT job of evening out my skin and instead of concealing 6 or 7 red spots I only need to cover one or two.

I have slightly uneven skintone and this certainly helps to cover the redness. The coverage is not super heavy, though, so I wouldn't count on it covering up severe redness or scarring. I generally use this to even out my face and make it look fresh, then spot some concealer where I need it.

This covers post acne spots very well, the best I've seen in a tinted moisturizer. If you add foundation on top of it, virtually invisible.

Many of the reviewers, including myself, received a sample of all four colors with an online order. I'd recommend putting something in your "cart" and going through the checkout process to see if the samples are still available. =]

Question
additional SPF
Can I use this tinted moisturizer with another sunscreen? I get sunburn easily. And since this moisturizer only has SPF 15 in it, I do need to use more sunscreen for protection. In that case, which one do I apply last on my skin?

I usually dust a little powder over my oily t-zone (Benefit's Hello Flawless) but this can be worn without powder for glowy, natural skin or with powder for a bit more coverage.

I didn't find I needed to set it with powder. I like the feel without powder, especially if your skiing tends to be dry. I would say powder may be helpful only if you have oily skin or want additional coverage.

I do set with Makeup For Ever HD loose powder, but only when I'll be at work or out all day. This tinted moisturizer really stays all day, and I find that a little of this setting powder perfects the look.

You don't have to I guess, but I did myself. I have really oily skin and this product only made my oil problems worse. When I didn't wear powder with it (I topped it with bareminerals mineral veil since I didn't want heavy coverage) my makeup was gone within hours.

Question
Compare to?
I have had and used so many TM; the only one so far that I like (now anyways) is Hourglass as I don't need to set it with Powder and it is fairly natural while covering my redness. Does this need setting powder? I find the LM great in the winter when my skin is dry but not great for summer as it tends to slide around unless I set with Powder and I am older with dry skin so no powder

Anyone try it without powder or can compare to Hourglass?

Hourglass seems like a heavier TM than this, almost like a foundation. I used a setting powder with hourglass but don't feel that I have to with this product, although it is just a normal part of my daily routine. I have compared the two and overall I prefer this TM, it's not heavy and still provides good coverage.

204 should work if you are relatively light skinned but with some color and in the summer I use 106 due to my tendency to tan quite a bit.

No, this should be your moisturizer, serum and foundation, one product covers all and that is one of the reasons this product is so good, if you like you can add a little veil on top with a fan brush and your skin will look and feel terrific!

This contains SPF15 which is rather inadequate for any level of actual protection.
Use a broad spectrum SPF product (at least SPF 30 for incidental sun exposure) prior to applying this tinted moisturizer.

Not sure what the first one is, but I know that titanium dioxide is much better than oxybenzone, which is the SPF in a lot of other products.
