Question
Is this foundation water-resistant or waterproof?

answer 1
Absolutely 100% waterproof. I work in a garden center, spend 90% of my day sweating rather profusely, and my makeup doesn't budge. As with any foundation though, always use a good primer.

Question
What shade should I get?
I am currently using MUFE Matte Velvet+ shade 40. I am looking to try out this new foundation. Any suggestions on what shade I should get?

First of all, let me say that MUFE Matte Velvet+ doesn't hold a candle to this foundation. This is the best stuff I have ever used. As far as the shade, I would suggest you go to a Lancome Counter and get one of their reps to match you up (it's free). That's what I did and surprisingly came out to be a completely different color than what I would have chosen had I ordered online. The beauty rep matched me up perfectly.

Try the 320 Bisque W which has yellow undertones and is for a light to medium skin tone (like the MUFE Mat Velvet 40) or try 330 Bisque N if you want a mix of neutral yellow and pink undertones. Hope this helps!

Shade 250 Bisque W would be the best match to your original formula of Bisque 0W.

I would say beware if you have dry skin. I have extremely oily skin but in the winter my skin gets flakes and I have found it impossible to use this foundation on those days. If you just have dry skin and don't have to deal with flakes then this foundation would work for you!

As long as you use a good moisturizer, I think you would be ok with this foundation. It's not a drying formula, despite the matte finish.

It may make your skin a little tight, but make sure you use a good hydrating moisturizer underneath.

This is my every day foundation. It is a little pricey, but I use 1-1.5 pumps to cover my face and blend down my neck; and it's lasted me for at least 4 months... and that's wearing it 5-6 days out of the week.

Yes, this can be used daily. This foundation has medium, buildable coverage, which means that if you apply one layer, you'll get a more natural look but you'll still reap the benefits of the foundation-- staying power, reduced oil, and overall better looking skin. You can add on another layer all over or in problem areas, and it won't look cakey, but it'll still provide the same benefits.

If you want something even more natural, try using this with a wet sponge.

I used Bisque 4W in Lancome's Teint Miracle Foundation and it was too light for me. I'm using 410 W in this Teint Idole 24h foundation, so I'm guessing that your match would be 320 W.

310 BisqueC would be one shade light. you'd better check it at lancome.com. There is a shade correspondence under the image of this foundation. Hope u like it.

answer 3
If you wear Bisque 4W in the original, try the shade 410 Bisque W which is most similar, and for the next lightest shade try 320 Bisque W which has the same undertones but is slightly lighter.

The coloring names are just slightly different, to match the original Teint Idole in Bisque 2C, try the #310 Bisque C which has the same pink and cool undertones you currently use.
