I am asian with a medium skin tone and use the illuminator. I think it gives my skin a nice dewy glow whereas the bronzer just deepens my skin tone and gives it a sunkissed look so I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I uploaded a picture in my review with the illuminator so you can see if it's comparable or not. Hope it helps!

The illuminator doesnt bronze - if you have medium skin tones this will be great for your skin. You could apply the illuminator as a base and then apply a bronzer ontop of that if preferred.

I mix this with my primer/BB cream and then use foundation on top if I want more coverage, if not, I am done!

Question
Trying to decide between Illuminate and Bronze?
Hi, I have combo skin mostly oily + shiny around my t-zone as well as dry patches along my chin & cheeks. My skin tone is more of a lighter medium with olive undertones and I'm trying to decide which one would give me more of a bronzey glow and bring out my olive undertones. Thanks!

This definitely gives you a sun-kissed glow, however it is sheer and does not add color like a bronzer.

The illuminator isn't really bronzey at all. The bronzer one might be, but the illuminator comes out a relatively balanced skin shade.

In my opinion this product gives a youthful glow. It's not shimmery like eye shadows, nor is it glittery. It's mor of a sun-kissed glow

I've never tried this one but Becca is a good one to mix with foundation. Nars has a good one also.

illuminate is like a highlighter. Where as Correct Corrects then skin not highlight it!

This gives you a glow if worn under your foundation or even worn alone. The One Step Correct is like a primer/concealer where it evens out your skin tone and it's more matte than illuminating
...definitely two different look.
