No it really keeps me from breaking out and I have severe acne. Doesn't clog pores at all

answer 4
I breakout very, very easily and at the drop of a hat. This product has not made me breakout at all - not even close. Actually, no FAB products have. Best you can do though, try a sample! Every time I've been to Sephora and want to test out a product, they're more than willing to give a sample size that will last you two to three days - definitely enough time to show whether or not the product will make you break out.

I wouldn't recommend this product for that kind of issue. I would just recommend using aquaphor or neosporin for you.

Yes, it helps me so much. It'll sting a little bit depending on if your dry patches have little cracks in them like mine do. But the sting is more hot sensation then anything.

I had something very similar & this product worked for me. It helped keep the patches from flaking during the day and eventually cleared it up so I only use it at night. Good luck to you!

Yes! 100% I've had the same on my chin and it was not only dry and visibly flakey - it was raw and painful. I only used it at night and after 2 nights my skin was perfectly back to normal. I've used every product before and nothing expensive or prescribed work!

Question
Is this supposed to be crystalline?
I recently bought this product, and it is past it's expiration date... normally I wouldn't pay attention to a lotion's expiration date, but it seems to be crystallized and hard to massage into my skin. Is that how this is supposed to be? Or is my product just super old?

I did not notice an expiration date on mine but I had the same crystals. Even without the crystals, I believe this product is supposed to be a solid that ends up melting once it comes into contact with skin, similar to coconut oil.

answer 2
Crystals are normal and will "melt away" if you rub your finger on the surface and let your body heat melt them.

answer 3
This is normal, I've bought this product many times and some have little crystals and others don't. And as for the hard to massage onto your face, you're supposed to work it a little in your fingertips and then massage onto your face. It's supposed to be a thicker, heavier formula for people with severe dry skin.

Sounds like it might be getting old. It should look and feel like a cream. The balm is more like the crystalline and hard. It (balm) is more concentrated.

Question
Is it normal that the product has "crystals"?
I received an order for the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Concentrate, it's my first time using the product. The expiry date on it says 08/16, so it is not expired. When I opened the little tub, the balm inside had these sort of "crystals" sitting on top. Long, thin, transparent, looks like it's little hairs growing out of the product! Is this normal?

The product looks white and smells ok. But I'm not sure if these 'crystals' are normal or if I should return the product???

I had the same thing in my package! They were crusty and didn't exactly "melt" down when I was applying the product. I ended up trying to scoop out the product around the crystals and ultimately ended up returning mine.

This is totally normal! I've bought multiple containers of it and some have it and some don't. Most melt away onto your skin but sometimes you'll just have to brush it off!

It is normal, my product was solid/strange looking to me when I first opened it as well. Just warm up with your hands and apply to face as needed.

It depends,. It does leave a smooth base texture and it does brighten the skin, but unless you're wearing a tinted moisturizer or bbcream, I think foundation would make your face feel a bit heavy.

I wouldn't. It migrates a lot because it's greasy. I get smudges on my glasses constantly from it and I don't apply it in the orbital area. I don't see how you would be able to avoid getting it in your eyes.

What products would you consider best for me in the FAB line as I was just recently diagnosed with rosascia?

I would avoid this line if you have a skin condition. It irritated my sensitive skin. I rely on Sonya Dakar products. I also like some of the Burt's Bees items, which are more affordable. Shop around and avoid waxes and oils. Good luck.

Question
Cream vs Concentrate comparison
Does anyone have a comparison between the ultra repair cream vs this ultra repair concentrate?

Yes, I have both, and I strongly prefer either the Ultra Repair Cream or the Sleeping Cream. Both of those soak into the skin and keep it nicely moisturized. This stuff (Ultra Repair Concentrate) just sits on top of the skin, feeling waxy and greasy, and every time I touch my face, or lean over on the couch cushions, etc., the goo comes off on my hands or cushions, etc.
