answer 1
It's just one shade, sort of a Light Orange. It is not a bright or overbearing color. Very soft looking, with just a touch of color. To me its perfect for spring/summer.

Honestly, I think the shade depends on the moisturization level of the lip. When I apply it I moisturize first, the color payoff is more subtle but I prefer it sheer. If you want a more bright color, I would put it on with no base. I hope this helps.

It is orange-y in the stick, but once applied the color is very sheer. It's much more of a lip balm than a lipstick.

The color changes form person to person but very subtly. Also if you want more color appearing on your lips, try applying 3-4 coats more than usual.
answer 5
Custom color based on your liptone... but the custom color will be in the "Tangerine Tango" family.
I am very fair skinned... but with a yellow base, more so than a pink base tone. Lipsticks, especially coral tones, are tricky on me.
This turned a beautiful color on me... the more I apply, the deeper the tone. It is my new favorite for casual/weekend days, when I want to look put together, but not "made up." It's very sheer and light, but still "there."

Hi jcstone. This lip balm has pH reacting pigments that transfer the best shade of Tangerine Tango based on your lip shade. This lip balm is intended to look gorgeous on anyone. I hope that answered your question!
