it's more satin and yes it has shimmer. in the pot though it looks kind of matte like but it isn't.

It has a soft shimmer to it. Definately not glitter. I think many differant age groups could pull this off.

It's definitely metallic/shimmery. The finish is quite lovely on the skin, though- very luminous. Not anywhere near matte, though.

I would say it is a satin color- its really sheer with a golden shimmery tone to it. It's quite stunning, actually.

I'd apply this with a powder brush. It's very pigmented so I'd suggest swiping the brush with product, then blow softly on the brush tip so that you don't overapply.

It's not too shimmery that you can't wear it during the day! It has a sheen but it's a light color and not overly intense.

I'm a shimmer kind of girl... don't like sparkles, but this is more like a pearly shimmer. I use it in the office as well as evening. If you have used the NARS Orgazm blush, it is less "sparkly" than that one.

It is shimmery but not inapropriate. The shimmer in it isn't that big so no chunks of glitter will go anywhere. I've worn this to work and no one can tell that it's orange, most think it's peachy pink.

I use a small blush brush, but because this color is pretty sheer, you could use a larger brush also.

I apply this to the apples of my cheeks. It also goes beautifully with bronzer on the cheeks and this on the cheekbone or viceversa. I apply it with the Pro Blush Brush #49 from Sephora.

I acutally start applying all of my blushes from the middle ear area first, then lightly drag the brush to the apples. Any farther and it wouldn't look professional. Blending is always the key as well.

I recently purchased the Apricot Brandy Blush (the Pantone collection), I LOVE it but, do you put it on with your fingers or is it better to use a brush? I read some of the reviews & saw one that said she applied it with a brush? Thanks

I use a blush brush for a sheer wash of color on my cheeks, but I'm sure fingers would work also if you want a real pop of color. I'm thinking of trying a light dusting with a bronzer brush on my face like a bronzer, but haven't had a chance to try it yet.
