Peter Thomas Roth Laser-Free™ Retexturizer™ Exfoliating Scrub

What it is:A multiaction retexturizing scrub that reveals smooth, radiant skin. What it is formulated to do:Retexturize, resurface, renew, and moisturize dull, aging, overexposed skin with this must-have scrub. It helps improve texture, minimize the appearance of pores, smooth out the look of fine lines and wrinkles, even out skintone, and clarify skin, revealing a complexion that looks dramatically younger, smoother, radiant, and more replenished. This multiaction retexturizer exfoliates manually, enzymatically, and chemically while simultaneously helping to repair and moisturize the surface. Jojoba beads and microscrub support natural surface cell turnover to smooth and clarify skin, and unclog and minimize the appearance of pores. Papaya enzyme helps to decongest skin by slowly dissolving dead surface skin cells while glycolic acid helps banish the look of uneven skintone and smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dragon’s blood, a red resin drawn from the Amazon’s Croton Lechleri tree, helps reduce redness and supports the natural repair process. Skin is left moisturized and clarified with noncomedogenic sweet almond, apricot, and mango oils. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Sulfates - Phthalates What else you need to know:This product is for all skin types including dry, normal, oily, and even acne-prone. Research results:In a 4-week consumer efficacy study on 25 women: - 96% agreed their skin appeared exfoliated - 92% agreed they saw an improvement in their skin's texture - 88% agreed their skin felt retexturized, resurfaced, renewed, and moisturized

My skin doesn't scream for moisturizer, but I use this oil afterwards (http://www.sephora.com/pure-maracuja-oil-P376726?skuId=1468438) and my face is extremely happy!

You may use this product in the morning, however if you do you NEED to put a sunscreen on after. Products with AHAs strip the top layer of your skin in order to let the healthier layer of skin underneath come to the top. This new layer of skin is more susceptible to sun damage.

Question
Okay for Combo Skin?
Has anyone noticed breakouts, bumps or other adverse reactions? My combination, 45+ skin has reacted somewhat 'violently' to the citrus oils in some brands, such as Ole H., and I'm concerned about similar reactions to these ingredients... Thank you in advance!

I am 60 years old. Sensitive skin. No difficulties with this. No redness, no breakouts. Of course, everyone is different. Perhaps you could try a sample first.

The ptr jojoba scrub was the first product I've used from ptr! It was nice until I discovered this ptr laser scrub! The jojoba scrub can be used daily, whereas this laser free scrub can be used 1-2x a week.. Your skin doesn't necessarily need to be exfoliated every single day so recommend finding a gentle daily cleanser and use this laser free scrub 1-2x a week! Plus you'll love it because it is so gentle and smells great!

Question
does this help with pitted acne scars?
I have a ton of pitted acne scars on my face and want them to go away. I still have active acne, but it's not as bad as it was when I was younger, so I'm looking for aggressive, effective products to help diminish the scars without doing a laser treatment (been there, done that). thanks!
