If I use this to clean up an eyeliner mistake ( for example), would it erase the other makeup under the liner?

No - it takes off everything. But because it offers more precision than a Q tip or finger the removed base product is easily fixed with a small makeup brush or eyeshadow sponge tip applicator.

yeah, if you have lid primer or concealer on it'll take that off, too, so you need to be a little careful with it.

The extra tips are dry and will draw liquid product from the inside of the pen. The tip will need replacing from being muddied with product before it drys out.

this is pretty darn wet. not goopy or drippy! but definitely wet, so i wouldn't be concerned abt it drying out. plus it comes w/three replacement tips, so you'll be set for quite a while with this.
