I have used only this gel so far and it works extremely well. However, I just ordered the Algenist Eye Balm to see how it works, also. I'll use it by itself and with the Eye Gel as an experiment.

The gel is quite light and smooth -- a little goes a long way. But I also like to use another light moisturizer over it, especially at night, as I'm in the "above 50-age range" and the skin around my eyes tends to be dry. Experiment for yourself - but don't overdo. Too much gel plus moisturizer will cause eye liner to look smudgy.

Question
Will I be able to use Algenist Firming and Lifting Eye Gel on my sensitive skin?
I posed this question last week and got no reply. I am interested in this product for my eyes. I am also interested in the Algenist firming face cream. I have sensitive skin and am wondering whether I could get a small sample of each of these products to try them out. If they work for me and do not irritate (or burn) my skin, I fully intend to purchase these products. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. My droopy eyelid and jawline really need a lift! Please help me out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I like the results I see, in a week, with use on my under eye & outer corner lids. You will not receive a sample requesting it here. You have to walk in to the store.

Question
gel vs balm
I received a sample of the complete renewal eye balm and love it. How would you compare the gel and the balm when it comes to moisture, anti-aging, and bags/puffiness?

I purchased both the serum and the balm, I feel like the serum gives you the line fighting you need but lacks moisturizing abilities so I always couple a serum with a creme or balm. Double whamy for the eye area!!

I, personally, didn't notice anything great at all about the Complete Eye Renewal Balm and I ended up returning it. But I absolutely LOVE the Firming and Lifting Eye Gel. Love it!

The bottle is .5 fl. ounces (15 ml.), small -- but you only need a tiny amount for your eyes. It should last for a few months at least! I found that the gel is quite light and goes a long way.

Question
sensitivity to products
I have sensitive skin and I am considering ordering Algenist Firming and Lifting Cream and also Algenist firming and lifting eye gel. Is there any way to get a sample of these products to see if I will be able to use them? I have had numerous bad experiences in the past where I have purchased expensive products which irritate my skin and become unusable for me. I am looking for good products which will work without irritating my skin. Thanks so much! Your products sound very promising!

Go to your local Sephora store and ask for a sample of what you want to try. Right now I seem to be getting a number of Algenist samples in the mail from a variety of sources because they are making a big marketing push. But don't wait go and get a sample from Sephora, they're free.
