Same as Cover FX Precision Foundation Brush #170
If anyone has seen, used or demo'd both, is this brush pretty much the same as the Cover FX Precision Foundation Btush #170? Any differences? Thanks!

on Pro Tapered Foundation Brush #58
Im so glad to help you because im sure your in a hard situation the two brushes are both very helpful and well priced so i can see why you like two but dont make the mistake i did!!
long story short i got both
but what i didnt know was the pro tapered brush was much more helpful for me since its lighter and less dense.
however the cover FX is richer and has more bristles. I prefer the pro tapered foundation brush #58 because i can use it for more things and there are less bristles so i can apply just the right amount of makeup and brush off just the right amount!
the cover FX i found to be very hard to blend with but there are also many pros to the product. I think it really depends on the kind of make up and amount you wear.
if you were calmer shades and less make up ( like me) the pro tapered foundation brush #58 is much better
if you use a lot of strong colors and heavy material i would go with the cover FX! hope this helped have fun with your new brush
I have seen the 170 Cover Fx brush and in comparison, theyre about the same in size. I believe the Sephora Pro #58 has slightly thinner bristles which give it more flex when u press down and distribute the product. The 170 i think is an older type synthetic (too /chunky or bulky) & this 58 has whispy light edges where the hair comes to a point. Plus the Sephora one is a couple bucks cheaper yet a much better quality.
