Yes and Yes. It's a matter of working the colors to your tones. I have medium skin, green eyes and red hair. You'd be shocked how hard it is to blend certain colors with my tones. I can make this pallet work for me. I'm betting this will look even better with your coloring!

I'm Asian and these colors really show off, You can use the eyeliner they give you to add pop underneath or use white.

Absolutely! Brown eyes can pull off almost any color. These are highly pigmented so they will show up great on you.

I have med skin tone and brown eyes, and It looks fine on me. I mix it up with either a dark base or a skin toned base (using either black or brown eyeliner for dark, or UD's primer for lighter). It depends on what look you're trying to achieve whether its darker or brighter but it works for me either way.

It should, however get yourself a good primer to use under it. Instead of sweeping the color onto your lids, get a relatively stiff flat eyeshadow brush and "pack" it on, pressing the shadow instead of pulling it. And if all else fails, get a white eyeliner pencil and use that as a base between your primer and the shadow.

Hi,
I love this palette and you should, too. I have very pale skin, and it works for me, but I think it would be even better for anyone with more color to the skin than pale. The shades are very well pigmented and apply nicely. I like the boldness of these shades. I think most of us are tired of all the nude/naked palettes that have been around for so long. The shades make me feel good and should like great on everyone.
I use my Kat Von D shadows both dry and wet. If you want an even deeper intensity, you can wet them and use them that way. (I always wet just one area of my shadows, usually in the lower left hand corner so as not to compromise the rest of shadow cake). If you only use a little water the color will be very intense. When I use more water, I get a more transparent barely there shade which is nice during the day.
This palette should be perfect for women of all ages, and all skin tones, and eye colors. It's a super fun palette.

the kat von d shadows look great on all skin tones! her shadows are all so super pigmented that you shouldn't have a problem with these colors showing up on your skin.
partner these or any shadows with a shadow primer, and also, to achieve a more dramatic look, or just to get the shadows on thinker or darker, try applying them wet.
all you have to do is dampen your brush before applying the color. it will really make these shades pop! also, applying wet prevents from too much fall out of the color or shimmer all over your face.

My experience with this palette, with and without a base, was that it was more pastel than I was hoping for. The colors in the center appear super vibrant, but they are softer than they look when you're actually applying them. The eyeliner was quite electric, however.

These colors are really going to show up with or without a base. If you have a darker espresso complexion than maybe a few colors would need the base to be really bright but as always Kat delivers with the pigment!

I use an eye shadow base every day so the colors go on nicer and last longer. I did not find these colors to be too "neon" at all. I've worn all of them and am very happy with them. Especially for the price.

Some of the colors are true to the pan, I haven't used them all at this point but the first and last two look the same when used. A few of the beauty blogs have swatches up, I'd recommend checking them out before buying if u are unsure.

the magenta is pretty bright... they're not totally neon-ish but i have yet to use them wet, but i can imagine they're even brighter and bolder wet. the eyeliner stays really well also

The colors are very richly pigmented and can be applied brightly depending on your primer, or sheer if you use a softer, rounded brush. The colors are still very pretty and vivid and can look great on all skin tones.

This palette will be wonderful for women of all ages, skintones, and eye and hair colors.

Not. Even through they look a like they're very different. The white is very very white with a pink tinge. The other is beige. They look similar but are different.

I love Urban Decay anything also, but their colors tend to be thicker (if that makes sense) and go on very bright. This one is bright but go on soft and you build them up in color. You can make them bright or dark if you want. I say get em both :)

I have neither palettes,
but i own both company's shadows, I would say that there pretty the same as for staying power *USE A PRIMER* but UD's shadows are a tad bit more pigmented then the Kat Von D

I think UD might be a little brighter but these colors are bright and if you wet your shadow brush they'll be even more intense.

The colors are pretty pastel except for the Dublin and Mad Max. They are a bit darker. All around I thought this was a nice collection of colors, especially for the cost. Good summer colors.

Here is what I do;
1. call your local sephora store(s).
2. ask if they have it.
3. if not, ask when they get shipments in
4. call back when they get shipments in.
I do this occasionally, if I really want something bad. It works.

most likley since you do not have any of these stores in az then it may take a while since you are pretty far out but it might help if you found a state around you that carrys or sells the product that way it will take a shorter time! i hope this was helpful to you!

This item should be in stores within the next few weeks, it is still relatively new and many stores are still waiting to get their shipments in. I would also suggest contacting your store periodically as they might have a better indication as to when this palette will be in.

Just looked at the box and no parabens in the eyeshadows or the liner. I don't see any ingredient that looks like a sulfate, although beyond SLSs, I'm not sure how it might appear and if it can be buried within another ingredient in an eye shadow.

Some powder products do indeed have parabens in them. I was just browsing some eyeshadows and blushes and there were a handful that contained them. I'm not seeing an ingredients tab listed for this product(it's missing on a few products after upgrading to the new site), I was looking for it as well. Would be nice if someone from Sephora answered.

Parabens are a preservative, a man made preservative. Man made preservatives take a long time to decompose, very dangerous stuff. Once in the human body, they may never leave. I suggest avoiding them. I am not sure I have ever seen a paraben in a powder product. Parabens are often used in liquids/creams. The ingredient list is on both kat von d website and sephora. It is above the reviews. There is a tab. i did not see parabens listed.
