Questions & Answers for TARINA TARANTINO Eye Dream Hyperlight

Question
how do you dispense the brightener?
I couldn't find any directions. The bottom does not push.
The bottom turns, but nothing flows to the tip.

Keep turning the end until product comes to the tip, it may take a while but it shoudl eventually get to the tip. It should make a clicking sound. I have found that I only need 2- 3 clicks for both eyes. If you can't get the product to the tip after a lot of turning, then you may have a defective dispenser, take it back.

Hi Holly54. To dispense, twist the bottom. The first time it may take quite a few twists, but after that it should dispense with just a few.

I think this product may be a bit light for darker/olive skin tones. It is blendable but I would definitely try it on in store first if you can.

Question
compared to ysl touche eclat?
how does this compare to ysl's touche eclat in terms of concealing dark (very dark!!) circles?
I have a medium golden/olive skin tone, and the touche eclat shade 8 works well for me because it's pretty yellow (i have very yellow undertones). Would this product be okay for me shade-wise and under-tone wise?

I ordered this and got a sample of 3 shades of YSL Touche Eclat as a sample at the same time (#1, #2, #4.5). I find this to be identical to YSL #1 in color, consistency, coverage, highlighting, and durability. Both are very similar to Benefit's Erase Paste in color, though EP is a bit thicker and more of a concealer than a highlighter.

This is a one shade only highlighter; the color is pale pink pearl. I have a medium (but not olive) skin tone and this cancels out my very dark circles very well. This is best used sparingly, as it's a pretty dense product. It also stays put all day. I think it might work for olive skin if used sparingly and under your makeup.

The first time you use this, it takes a few minutes to dispense. I held it upside down and shook to get the product to the tip. Then turn clockwise just a click ot two once the product is in the tip.

Question
Has anyone who uses Bare Minerals tried this?
I am a devoted B.E. user but I have always found their bisque concealers a bit lacking, especially for dark circles under the eyes. Does anyone have any experience with using this with B.E. foundation and mineral veil? If so, do I put it on before my other B.E. products, or after foundation (which is when I usually apply my bisque/concealer)? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, so thanks!

I too use BE every day. I use this after my foundation, and after I've done my eye makeup. I don't use mineral veil regularly, but when I do, I use it after this. Hope that helps!

Question
Are the ingredients listed accurate?
The description of the product says it is formulated without parabens, but I see Methylparaben and Propylparaben listed in the ingredients. So is the ingredients list on Sephora accurate? Or is the description wrong?

It shouldn't say it's formulated without parabens, because the ingredients do list Methylparaben and Propylparaben.
