Mixed. The luminizer is subtly shimmery; the brightener is not. The creme blush is matte and the powder one has a very, very slight shimmer that is barely noticeable. The bronzer is matte (which I certainly prefer over the ones that make me feel like a Pussycat Doll or something!)

answer 3
The bronzing veil is a buildable bronzer, but has hardly any shimmer in it, you wouldn't see it on your skin. The creme blush is matte. The powder blush has shimmer, but no sparkles or glitter. It's wonderful. The concealer and brightener are both matte, and the luminizer is a shimmery, champagne-pinkish color, but is super flattering on any skintone.

The luminizer is shimmer.
The concealer and brightener are matte.
Haven't looked too closely at the blush, but the bronzing veil catches the light but for the most part goes on as a matte.

Mixed. The cream blush is more of a matte (if you can describe a cream as that), the powder blush is shimmery, and the bronzer is somewhere in the middle (think TF Candlelight compact).

The bronzing veil is the light bronze colour - the largest compartment on the far left. You can either use it to hightlight you cheeks or lightly all over to "veil" you face. It's very, very subtle. Not orangy or pink. I believe it would look good on almost any skin tone.

The bronzing veil is a very sheer powder that gives your skin a more sun kissed dewy look. It's not strong at all, so you can layer it up, if your fair to light it is subtle and blends effortlessly.

answer 5
The bronzing veil isn't actually a bronzer. The included makeup cards show you how to put it on. At first look in the kit you will think it's dark, but if you follow the directions on the card you will be amazed. The way you put it on just enhances the natural nude look. I really can't say enough great things about this product!

A very sheer, lightweight bronzer. Minimal color so it looks natural. Easy to build upon itself but difficult to put too much.

answer 8
A bronzing veil is a very sheer bronzer. It adds a very delicate "veil" of color that lets your natural skin show through more than a regular darker colored bronzer. I use it on cheek bones, on the bridge of my nose, and very lightly on my forhead and chin. Anywhere the sun naturally hits. Its also very pretty if you put a little on your cupid's bow.

The concealer is a tad medium for VERY fair skin tones. In winter it is a bit dark but it will be perfect for summer. Since it's winter here in the midwest I am now using it to contour more than conceal.

The concealer in this palette will work with your complexion for brightening the under eye area and will be about a half shade lighter if you're going to cover up imperfections. I hope that answered your question!

Question
Do I use this on top of my normal makeup?
Is this something that is supposed to replace makeup (like bare minerals) or something I put on after my normal makeup is done?

Yes you can use this in conjunction with your normal foundation. It does have a concelor in it so thats up to you if you want to use it. What I do is put on the brightern and concelor, blend them well. Put foundation on, then bronzer, then blush. I use lots of different products together until I get the shade or color that I want. Really great product!

answer 3
It is not a foundation. I use my favorite liquid foundation and then follow one of the 3 application cards included in the set. When you are finished applying all your make up, if you want to use a little powder to set your look, you can. I usually don't use powder except very little to set concealer around my eyes. This look is meant to give you a natural glow.

I use it before I apply my setting powder. So depending on the look, i wear it under my powder, on top of my base foundation. seems to set better. Otherwise I just use a little of this, then apply either powder.

answer 5
It is up to the user and how nice their complexion is naturally. It is great over a good tinted moisturizer, one that melts into your skin,
and a little setting powder. Or use over foundation, if you prefer more coverage. If you are lucky enough to get by with only
wearing blush, bronzer, and a concealer than this is all you need. The included brightener will brighten your eye area and the
illuminizer will highlight where you put it. The included cards are excellent for showing where to put each product.

I'm not sure what shade NC 40 is, but I am blonde and fair skinned and lt looks so natural on me. You can tell I'm wearing makeup, but since it is in the nude color group, everything blend well and it looks great. I really think it would look great on anyone with any skin tone.

Yes... I move between NC35-40 and it's a good fit. If you find it's a little light, you can brush a little bronzer veil over it to deepen the tone.

What's the difference between the luminizer and the brightener?

The luminzer is shiny and sparkly and the brighter is more of a pale concealer. I use the luminzer under my blush to give it a little sparkle. I also put it in my tear duct to add a little shimmer. I use the brighter for under my eyes. Once its blended it looks just like my skin color without looking like I put make up on. The concealer in this kit is a bit heavier and I use it on my sun spots or if i some mark. I really like the brighter, the consistency of the product feels great, doesnt bleed or glob up on oily skin. I already had a luminizer so i'm not using this one as much. Definitely watch some youtube videos to see other ways to use the product.

Brightner lightens up the area, most ideal for underneath your eyes to brighten your eyes, drawing attention to them and making you look more awake. It is a base coat and goes on looking pretty matte, whereas the luminzer has shimmer in it and can be used on top of brightner to add a light shimmery glow without being too sparkly looking.

The brightener is slightly yellow to cover dark circles, pimples, and things like that. It's pretty much a yellow-toned concealer. It's wonderful.

The luminizer is a pink shimmery cream that you use to highlight areas like the bridge of the nose, the brow bone, and cheek bones.

Hope this helped :) xx

These colors are very friendly to fair skin. The textures are light but buildable, so it is easy to get a light wash of color, or build up to more intense color. I'm a light-skinned blonde with blue eyes, and the colors are perfect for me.

I have pale skin too and if you use the how-to cards it will make you look like you have a tan.. no seriously lol I would recomend you get the Too Faced Bronze-buki brush to go with it, it's the best bronzer bush I've ever used and goes great with this pallete. If you prefer a more natural look for your fair skin they have another similer pallete called (No make up) Hope this helps xoxo :)
