Hello! I have pretty sensitive skin, and this product has done wonders for my skin. It doesn't dry it out and I don't feel it's irritated my skin at all. It has reduced my acne quite a bit, and the parts of my skin that don't have any acne are actually glowing. I've only used it for two weeks, but so far the results have been amazing!

This is surprisingly very, very gentle on my sensitive skin. Even though it's vacuum-cleaning your pores, it does not strip all the good stuff out with the bad. My skin has never felt this clean and this not-irritated at the same time. Still, read the ingredients if there are specific ones that cause reactions in your skin. If you don't see any, the give it a go! You'll love it.

It's not unusual for my face to break out or develop redness when trying out a new product, but this product has done neither. I've been using it twice a day and it seems to be very effective but also very gentle. My experience with it would lead me to say it would be a great choice for sensitive skin.

I've used this cleanser very often and it's probably the most gentle cleanser I've ever used! It warms up on contact and rinses off completely. Your skin won't feel dry, just very clean and VERY healthy! I've never had any kind of irritation while using this! It works great with the other products from Boscia's "Black" line!

I use it in conjunction with the Boscia Black mask so i don't know if its the cleanser working or just the mask but it works. You should give it a try. I like this brand because its helped with my oily skin and my acne. Just by using the black mask and the cleanser

I'll have to say yes to that. I get small black heads quite a bit, and when I use this they don't pop up as much. Use a clarisonic brush if you're able to, it helps to get rid of dead skin and get the good stuff from the cleanser into your pores without clogging them.

I have been using this, in addition to the Purifying cleanser (alternate them) for a little over a month. My blackheads are not completely gone, but I have far less than before I started using this. I've always been told it can take several weeks to see complete results when changing your skincare regimen.

I'm not sure if it removes blackheads, as I don't have those. But I am firm believer that once they're gone, this face wash will
ensure it doesn't come back! My whiteheads and ruddish red zits haven't come back! I suggest trying Boscia's Pore Purifying
Strips to remove the blackheads. Then use this wash to make sure they don't come back. Hope that helps!

Question
Do you have to use the whole line? Help?
Hi, this may be a really stupid question, but I have only used skincare that has been an entire line, (e.g. proactiv, etc) and I was wondering if you had to use the whole line of this product to get the benefit out of it or if it would be just as fine to use this cleanser and a different moisturizer. Again, sorry if this is dumb, I'm just a bit clueless when it comes to this stuff.

answer 2
Hi! No, you don't have to. I have oily skin and this does the trick. It cleanses really well and the heat sensation is soothing on my skin. Your skin may react great to the cleanser and maybe not so great to a toner, etc..After I wash I use a matte moisturing cream by Peter Thomas Roth in the AM. At night I've been using the Boscia Black moisturizer. Having a good cleanser is a good foundation, though :)

Of course the brands recommend that, because you'll be giving them more money! But honestly, I think you need to follow how your face and skin feel. If you feel that you aren't getting the results you want from just the cleanser, or just the mask, and you have the means to test out the whole line, by all means, do so. Often the items are complementary and smell similarly. But I don't think there's any "magic" to it though. I just splurged on the Boscia Black cleanser, but I'm not going to buy their whole line, because I'm already happy with another moisturizer-sunscreen I use.

This is the only product I use from this line and I still feel I receive the full benefits from this cleanser. I've had fewer breakouts since using it and my pore size has noticeably shrunk. I wanted something that would improve my complexion and tone without drying out my face and this product has done all of those things without the aid of other items from the product line. I definitely feel this an affective cleanser/ stand alone product.

no, you can mix and match products. but most lines are made with ingredients that compliment each other. so just be aware of the combination of products you use or you could stir up all kinds of unimaginable drama with your skin.

when i started using the line, i continued to use epicuren moisturizer (until i ran out & could not find it in my area). i didn't experience any adverse effects. in fact, about 6 months after i started using boscia, i purchased their eye cream because i was so happy with the other products. good luck!

Don't ever put yourself down by thinking something is a dumb question, it's a great question. I love this product and one of the best things about it is that you can or cannot use the other products that go with this line. Things that are annoying about Murad, Clinique, or Proactive is that you DO have to use the whole line. Bosia is not like that at all. You may break out after using this cleanser for the first few days but do not give up or get discouraged, it is just really amazing about pulling out all of the impurities in your face. Give it a week or so and you will have the best skin you've ever had! Hope this helped!

I also have sensitive skin but mine is oily and I found this product to be very helpful for me! If you have dry or combo skin this may not be the best because it could be drying for other skin types. I don't feel like this is a harsh product and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry or overly-cleaned when I'm finished using it. Hope this helps!

I have the same problem. In the winter, the purifying gel is too much for me.
I also have sensitive/acne-prone skin.
I've been using the black cleanser for about a week and it's noticeably not as drying as the purifying gel. I can't say that it's been helping to prevent acne, but my skin certainly feels as clean as when I normally use the purifying gel during the summer.
Then again, it could be different from person to person.

Yes! I have acne prone skin and I have used this product for about 4 months now, and I do not really break out because of it. I have combination skin, so I also use a toner and lotion/gel after this product, but with the combination of the three, I do not break out too often. If you have blackheads, this does not lift them out of your skin though.

I suffered from mild acne as a teen and occassionally as an adult (blackheads, uneven texture and darker pigmented scars). This cleanser has cleared my skin in less than a week. I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic, and I alternate between a vitamin c serum and a salicylic acid toner nightly. This cleanser is powerful because it warms and opens your pores to release toxins, but it is sensitive in that it does not irritate skin either. Hope this helps.

This cleanser has effectively cleared my skin. For me it depends on how heavy the eye makeup is. If I have waterproof everything and went all out, I usually need to use my eye makeup remover after(or before because I learned my lesson:p). But most nights when I just have my everyday makeup it works perfectly. I really like Origins Well Off fast and gentle eye makeup remover. It really is fast and gentle and I hardly have to use any for it to do its job.
