My dermatologist said I could, but to avoid the ducts and lids...patting on ever so lightly and VERY sparingly. She suggested every other day. I have had no irritation and can see the difference it makes in my extremely sensitive skin...when caution is observed. Hope that helps.

don't get it to close to your eyes but i do put it around my eyes... just not to close!!.what i mean is ,I put it around the bone like where you would start to get lines ... and so far no problem for me!!! I love it

I tend to let it dry and sit for a bit, then follow with moisturizer. It can be a bit drying so using moisturizer is smart. Good luck!

I like to use the day regime (Ruby hydracreme) first> Since I have combination skin, I use strictly oilfree suncreen (spf 35) on forehead area then I use a moisterizer with spf 35 on my cheeks, nose & chin area. Then I will proceed with my mineral base powder.

I would continue to use my moisturizer after applying this. It's important to use a sunscreen over it if using it during the day. Skin treated with this tends to be more prone to burning.

Not at all. In fact, these products have been my saving grace against my somewhat drying face wash and cold northeast weather. I wake up and the first thing i notice is how healthy my skin feels.

Neither of the products will cause the skin to dry. Both contain many ingredients, like Hydra-Balance and OliveActive, to soothe, hydrate, and comfort the skin. Also, both contain honey, which is calming, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and promotes healing.

I have really dry skin and I haven't found them to be drying at all. Although I am using a cleanser right now that is moisturizing so maybe that combination is working for me. And I thought I'd need to use moisturizer with these products but I haven't.. on the box they are actually described as "restoring hydration" and "counteracts dryness, redness&irritation." Hopefully this helps you!

Absolutely not! If anything, you should be avoiding the sun when using products containing Retinol. Wearing sunscreen is beyond important as it makes your skin more sensitive to the harsh effects of the sun's rays. This product is excellent and you need just a tiny amount...you can even skip a day if you find it too drying. I would use a moisturizer with SPF protection or a foundation with SPF of at least 30..and wear sunglasses. Retinol is serious business and while the sun is fun, it's important to protect your face..especially around the delicate eye area. Love love love this kit!

The silver jar is for the evening before bed and the pink one has a lower dosage of retinol for the day time. Use sunscreen as your skin will be more prone to sunburns when using this product.

The night serum should be used ONLY at night, and the hydra creme should be used ONLY in the morning. Both products have a bit of a shea butter base, which means the night serum is actually hydrating. It feels nothing like any other serum I've ever used. If you really feel you need a moisturizer on top of the serum, I recommend Dr Brandt's INFINITE MOISTURE, or TIME ARREST CREME (for those who want lifting/firming/tightening).

Depends. There are several people on here that have sensitive skin and have no problem. I, however, have very sensitive skin and it made my skin sensitive to touch and even light! I also broke out in red bumps. The directions say it may cause problems with people with sensitive skin and rosacea like me, so be careful when you use it and stop using it if you have any problems!

I have been prescribed retinol from my dermatologist and it is very drying and harsh on the skin. I do not have sensitive skin so I tend to stick to the over the counter retinol products. I would only use this three days a week and see how your skin reacts before using it 7 days a week. Good luck!

No shiny appearance, even if you're oily in the T-zones like I am. Frankly, I find the rube glow product odd because even with the addition of my normal day moisturizer (I was a teeny bit dry the first few applications), I wasn't over-moisturized.

What you do get varries, though. Some get a dewy finish. Some get that glow that you're supposed to get. Others, like me, won't notice a single difference. (The serum is great. I'm referring to the pink bottle.)
