Questions & Answers for Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow

Question
Are both products housed in the same tube?
If so, do they come out separately? Please clarify hoe this two in one delivery system works, since the product description is inconclusive.

yeah it comes with a little cap that looks like you can screw on to the tube of luminizer and on top of that cap its a blush that you can actually hold , you can just putt the luminizer from the tube with your fingers its easy to blend and a little goes a long way. and the blush even though it comes out like lines really you can blend easily though.

When you open the box, the "cap" with the blush is separate from the tube of illuminator. Basically, you unscrew the cap on the illuminator and then screw on the "cap" with the blush {which also includes an actual clear cover/cap!} Hope that helps ... I love it!!

The blush tip is packaged separately from the "glow" tube! You can either use the blush tip as the cap, or a flat top cap for just the highlighter.

its piggy-back...when you take the cap off the luminizer, the blush is on top of that cap...the blush has its own cap..hope this helps....I wondered the same thing when I looked at it....

The blush portion is actually the very round tip of the product (essentially, the nub.) The round tip unscrews and the entire tube is the highlighter. Doesn't seem very proportional, I know.

This may help so that you can see swatches and read more about the delivery system: http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2012/01/tarte-maracuja-blush-glow-review-swatches-and-photos.html

The highlight is in the tube, the cheek tint is housed in the cap. When you want to get to the highlight, you remove the cap, and the cheek tint comes off with the cap. They are 2 separate pieces.

Question
How does this "two-in-one" divery system work?
Can't figure out from the photo where the 2 in one comes in. Also would like to have guidance re: color selection. I have light brown eyes and hair and light complexion. Thanks!

It is two separate products - the one in the tube which is the luminizer, and the one in the cap, which is the blush. If you like pinks, then the moonlight is the way to go. I can't help with other colors, sorry!

The highlight is in the tube, the cheek tint is housed in the cap. You use the tint to cheeks for a pop of color, like blush. For the highlight, you remove the cap, the tint comes off with the cap, and you apply the highlight to the tops of the cheeks, below brow bone, cupids bow, or wherever you wish to apply it. You can even add some to foundation for an all over glow. I have it in moonlight, still trying it out. It is a silvery pink.. I guess it depends the look that you want to achieve. If you want a more sun kissed look, I would suggest one of the others. I think they are versatile for all skin tones.

Question
How are you supposed to apply this stuff? There is the regular applicator and then this little ball top that evidently fits onto the tube too?

The ball on top is the blush/tint. That screw off and the highlighter is in the tube. The luminizer squirts out (kinda like toothpaste) and i apply with a tapered foundation brush. I mix the luinizer with my foundation for a boost, and as a highlighter on my cheeks and browbone. Dot the ball (blush) a few times on my cheeks and blend with the same brush! A little goes a long way!

it is two separate products in one - inside the tube is the creamy luminizer, the "ball" isn't really a ball at all, but a separate blush.

Seriously? I bought this amonth ago, in a store in sunlight ...only, was not packaged with anything else. Clinique makes a powder shimmery bronzer (NOT too dark or tan) blush that gives the same glow

What is the color of the blush on Moonlight?
I bought the Moonlight and love the color of the blush on me. I can tell I am going to run out of this and would love to be able to buy just the blush. Can anyone tell me what color it is?

It's a very light peachy pink, almost like the Glisten Amazonian Cay blush, just more sheer and not as golden
