The effectiveness varies from person to person but I have found great results trying this peel. It was much more intense and felt more effective on my own skin (combination, not sensitive skin at all).

I love this peel... I also use the Microdelivery Peel in between days I don't use my retin-a... If you have strong skin (or stubborn skin like mine), you can definitely take the exfoliation. It leaves your skin so soft and you will also see noticeable peeling.. I use the clarisonic to get the skin off and it's no problem! You will love these peels.

THE NEW Microdelivery Triple-Acid Brightening Peel Pads are awesome, much better than the Microdelivery Mini Peel Pads & biger. But you only get 12 with the new ones. I love the new ones, but we should get at least 20 for $68 but their worth it!
Hope this helps

I absolutely love these peel pads. For me, the results I got after just one use were quite amazing..super soft skin, clarity and a brightness. The pad is quite wet with ingredients and I use the pad once a week and so this will last 3 months. I love the entire microdelivery line, but this just may be my favorite of all of them.

I leave mine on all night and wash off in am. It tingles at first and then feels a little sticky but dries quickly. My skin the next am is glowing, smooth, tightened my pores and lessened my deep forehead furrows SIGNIFICANTLY. If it tingles a lot, wipe it off.

As with most of the others, after cleansing at night, leave it on and go to bed. Wash off in the morning. If your sensitive, take it off after an hour.

I keep it on overnight. Directions say that if your skin is sensitive, to wash off after 5 minutes. If you are worried, you could always leave on unless you have irritation. I would think if your skin couldn't handle overnight, you would feel it. I would not use the product during the day because it is a little tacky, but you could put it on when you know you'll be inside or at least awake for a few hours if you are worried about irritation.

Question
Is my product defective
I received my peel pads today and I was very excited to try them for the first time. I waited to use them until before bed; like the product description suggests. I opened my packet and half of the pad was discolored with yellowish blotchy spots. The other half was white. I wasn't sure whether this was normal, but I didn't want to waste my pad if it was, so I proceeded to use the product anyways. The pad wasn't very wet. It barely had enough liquid to cover my face and neck. The description says there should be enough for the face, neck, decollete, top of hands and elbows. I haven't opened another pad packet to see if another pad is just as dry because I don't want to waste them (they are so darn expensive). I'm pretty sure that these are defective though because everything I've read says the pads should be thoroughly saturated with product and the face should feel sticky after use. My face is about the only area that got a decent amount of liquid from the pad and my face is not sticky afterwards. I have not rinsed it off either. Any input would be appreciated.

Question
Does this work well with acne prone skin?
I'm 24 and have moderate acne - but over the past 6 month my skin broke worse than what I'm used to, but just in my cheeks. I do have blackheads in my nose and chin; and I'd say I have combination skin. I don't have acne anywhere else on my body. I've never had problems with my skin before. I haven't changed my diet, I do exercise, I've been using the same makeup for a couple years now (but since I've broken out, I've limited how much I put on my skin so I don't make it worse). I've tried so many skin care regiments and am willing to pay more to get a good product. I have thought about getting chemical peels but am unsure how harsh they are. I wouldn't say I have super sensitive skin. I am currently using a cream at night called Stieva-A (active ingredient is Tretinoin). Do you think these pads might make a difference?

yes it should help with acne. a lot of blemishes are caused by dead skin cells trapping dirt and oil, and by using this peel it should exfoliate the dead skin off reducing breakouts. i have a few rough spots on my face, especially my cheeks, and i found this product really helped reduce breakouts in these rough areas, i definitely recommend it!

I had the chance to take home a sample of this, and used it on a day when I had a particularly yucky breakout on my chin. Well, my skin was immediately brightened and softened...but it was the next day that I noticed right away the redness from all the blemishes was gone! They had significantly healed (not completely, but probably shortened the healing time by days). I found this to be an unexpected and great effect from this peel.

answer 3
I would go with the Microdelivery purifying peel. It seems that maybe your skin is congested in certain areas...this peel would exfoliate and help with clarity and brightness. Are you cleaning your makeup brushes..this could be the cause of the breakouts.

I can tell you this much..the pad is not textured..so it really doesnt hurt when you apply on your face. I had a spot on my face that I scratched by mistake earlier that day. When the pad touched it, it tingled a wee bit but the weird thing is it healed nicely the next morning. I am guessing that if it doesnt harm an open wound, it might not really irritate acne prone skin. Even if it doesnt complete diminish it, I am sure it removes the excess oil build up underneath the skin.

Question
Is this intended to be used continuously or just for the 12 days?
I absolutely love this product. I have been using it for about a week and already notice a difference. My skin is brighter, the fine lines around my mouth appear less visible, and the overall texture is much smoother. I just want to know if it is meant to be a one time process or if I should use it all the time. Also, since I am using it at night, should I still be following with my regular night moisturizer?

hi there! you can continuously use this but i would recommend that after you get to your "desired" skin texture/tone, take it down a notch just to maintain. so if you are using it 2x a week now, take it down to 2x every other week or 1x a week. as for putting on moisturizer afterwards, i don't because my face is very sticky and i dont want anything to interfere with my product but thats just my opinion :) i only use it 1x a week, when my pads are all done i take a break for a month and then start up again.

you can use it once a week, and if you want later less often, but substitute this peel with other exfoliator.
you can follow with moisturizer but you don't have to. depends how your skin feels. if you want to combat some problem use this instead: for wrinkles antiaging product after this peel, for acne-acne product, for dark spots-lightening cream/serum.
Peel removes dead cells and the serums/creams will be more effective.

I asked a Sephora consultant about this very thing and she said that they were gentle enough to use continiously so I am going to buy myself another box since I am down to my last two and it is 15% off chic week.
I don't think that it will heal any more small scars that I have for acne but it is a fabulous exfoliator and definitely brightens my skin up so I think it is worth it.

do i need to rinse it off?
the instructions says to rinse off after 3-5 minutes for sensitive skin. If i don't have sensitive skin, should i be leaving on all night - if so, do i apply my serum and moisturizer on top of this at night? thanks!

according to their representative who I saw make a presentation of this, no you do not rinse it off. Put it on dry skin before bed, and keep it on. They said their chemist's also said to try not to use moisturizer unless your skin really needs it. So don't rinse unless it irritates, and don't use moisturizer unless it irritates.

Yes! Definitely rinse it off.. apart from the fact that any acid loses its strength no matter how long you keep it on for, you do not want to get stuff sticking to your face be it particles the eye cannot see or really tiny threads from fabric like pillows and other things your face touches. This product exfoliates in essence which means your skin is most vulnerable to whatever it is exposed. So washing it off and applying a moisturiser or a night cream should seal in the benefits.

I have senstive skin so I rinsed off after 5 minutes and then followed with my night cream which I use every night. I saw results the next day and they were great. Most people probably don't rinse off the peel because most people have normal nonsensitive skin. I would say that you can put your moisturizer on after the peel just wait like 5 minutes to make sure it soaked in and is dry.

The beauty of this peel and of mandelic acid is that it doesn't cause dryness and peeling of the skin. People call any chemical exfoliation by the name "chemical peel", but some acids exfoliate and lessen dark spots without causing peeling off of the top layer of skin. Mandelic acid is great bc it is very effective to reduce dark spots and redness from old acne (brightening effect) and it plumps fine lines, BUT it doesn't destroy your skin the next day like more harsh acids do (peeling, dryness sunburned look...yuck!). I use these in the morning before showering - wipe on and have coffee for 5-10 mins then rinse it off in the shwer. As long as you wear sunscreen, you can use them in morning with no problem.

Your skin should not be "peeling" or having that skin peeling look as this treatment simply works as an in depth exfoliator and not so much of a peeling mask like a chemical treatment.

Question
anyone else open up & have dry pads? it only seemed barely moist & i had no peeling or tinging. think i might have gotten a bad pad.
When i went to use my pad for the first time it was just barely moist. i thought maybe they were supposed to be this way. i used it anyway & didn't feel anything happenning at all. i had no stinging & no peeling. couldn't really see a difference. are they supposed to be just hardly damp or more wet when you open them. i didn't want to open & waste another one until i saw the effects the first time. may use twice this week to see if i got a bad batch. has anyone else had this happen?

Question
Anybody compared this to other home peels?
I like my skin after I do the Brazilian Peel; how does this compare? I didn't really think the original microdelivery pads were that great so I am curious about these. Any body compare to Ole Henrickson, Dr Brandt, or Brazilian Peel?

Thanks.
