Questions & Answers for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Enhancing Serum Advanced

Question
How long do you have to keep the brow enhancing serum on?
I know the time it takes for your brows to grow back will vary, but how long do you keep the actual serum on your eyebrows before you can wash your face?

The directions say to use it twice a day. It's a brow SERUM. As with any serum, you apply it and leave it on until the next time you wash your face. The usually expectation of washing the face is twice daily.

What I usually did was before I went to bed I applied it, let it dry and they went to sleep. When I woke up i washed my face and everything then put a coat on while i got dressed and did other activities then put on my makeup. Most of the time I filled in my brows after the application of the serum and at the end of the day when I removed the makeup, you could tell that it was still on there. So its not really necessary to take it off. It'll actually be more beneficial to you to keep it on as long as possible.

Personally, I add the brow gel after I wash my face at night, when I am putting on eye cream and moisturizer. It dries after a few moments and it hasn't ruined my pillows yet. In the morning, I add it after a shower and I forgo doing my eyebrows with powder and gel. It seems to hold everything in place anyways, but I would guess that you could add the powder, then use this as the gel...

This is not a product that you wash off, it stays on like any hair serum. You should be putting this on your brows after you wash your face, in the morning and at night. It will soak into the brows and dry clear within a couple of minutes.

I usually put it on a generous amount before going to bed and leave it on I don't wash it off because it dries clear i just wait until I wash my face. I also apply it if I'm not wearing makeup and just let it stay on until I'm ready to wash my face.

This works better than anything I've tried for those bald spots, and I've tried Revitalash and various others, even Rogaine! I've been using this for a few months now (I'm on one and a half), and I've gotten more regrowth then I've gotten in years! I will repurchase!

If the hair follicle has been damaged, then this will not make the hair grow back. But assuming this is not the case, then this product will make the hair growing back thicker and help fill in the bald spots.

If you use the serum as directed ( twice a day) it lasted me about 2 months. There were a few days I did only apply it once a day though, so that's my estimate it might actually last you longer though. It's not like you're applying a bunch, its only your eyebrows.

I have been using mine for two months, twice a day, and I would say there is still more than half left; all you need is one bead of serum to completely saturate both brows so even though it's a small amount, it will last a really long time.

answer 3
I applied it right before going to bed and as soon as I got up in the morning, I washed it off and applied a new coat before i did anything else to my face. then applied makeup. So I recommend doing your daily morning facial routine, wash your face and everything, before applying the serum. get dressed and take a shower and everything then lastly apply makeup, just so that if in the process of applying your makeup you accidentally wipe it off you let the serum sit for a while so it got a chance to start it's "growth magic". But for the most part when I wiped off my makeup at the end of the day i could tell it was still on there because of a glue like residue that started to peel off.

if you are applying the serum at night also apply it in the morning after you cleanse your face. You can apply make-up over it as well if you shade in your brows regularly.

Question
Have there been any studies on this formulation? How long does it take?
The second time I got my brows waxes (years ago) the esthetician overdid it, and at the wrong angle. I'd love to get a sexy arch similar to Eva Longoria, if only I could get them to GROW! What are the chances that this formula will actually work for me?

Also, it concerns me that 98% of the reviews seem to be written by people in CA. As if no one else has trouble with brows in N. America? Weird.

This product is not a miracle worker but does help. I live in N.C. and most all of the women I know have problems with their brows.
My daughter and granddaughter have beautiful brows and I encourage them to leave the tweezing to the pros.

The product did go through clinical studies where 100% of participants saw improvement in hair growth. They advise 2x a day for 6-8 weeks. (A typical hair growth cycle.) Everyone's brow story is different so it may take longer or less time.

You must turn the other end of the stick a few "clicks" and it trickles out the other end. Not in a watery sense, but just trying to give you a visual

It twists at the base, you'll see the space at the bottom that looks like a second cap, well it doesn't come off. You just twist it and you'll hear a click. I recommend you hold the tube upright, with the top of the brush already off and twist the bottom while watching for the serum to start coming out of the middle of the brush. It sounds weird, but trust me it works, i was confused too.

answer 4
You twist the bottom part of the pen and it pulls the gel up (imagine a gel deodorant). The one problem I have had with this product is that the cap doesn't like to stay in place. I've cleaned the applicator, but it still pops off. It can get a little gooey if you twist the bottom too much. A few clicks is all you need.

answer 5
Hold the "pen" with the brush facing the floor; all you have to do is twist the "cap" portion on the other end in a normal, clockwise fashion (maybe five clicks?) and you should see a bead of the serum form on the brush.

answer 6
Just turn the bottom 2-3 clicks the first time. After that, 2 clicks should be sufficient to do both eyebrows.

It will most DEFINETELY help, my brows were bad from too much tweezing and making them thinner when that was in style, and thredding because I'm a professional model, and brows are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT WITH MODELING(make up artists would take forever filling in my sparse thin brows) I just did a review after not even 2 months and showed photos, I needed thicker hairs and more hairs to grow in, and after a week I noticed first thing that happened were my brows were getting thicker and longer, than hairs I haven't seen in 8 years or hairs I didn't even know I had started growing in!.I highly recommend this but you HAVE TO use it EVERDAY!, I do it 2-3X (mostly 3X) a day cuz my brows are bad and I layer it on my brows and just go all around them too and I'm happy I did and finally found a serum that works even more than I expected it too! I def. Suggest you buy this, and be patient too, but it does work fast. You'll see my photos the 1st is using it 1 week(you'll see how bad my brows were getting) 2nd photo is now after not even 2 months (1 1/2 bottles) GOOD LUCK!!! ;))

I have trichotillomania, which means I compulsively pull at my brows, despite being conscious of it and knowing full well how bad it is. I've had this problem for the past ten years or so and there was a point for a few years where I had only a few strands of hair for eyebrows. I've been using this product for a couple of years and have been better managing my pulling and I definitely notice a difference. I can't guarantee that you'll bring your brows "back from the grave" but even as much as I've pulled over the years, I still notice a difference when I use this product. I think it's well worth a shot.

The ends of mine were very thin and bad looking for years because of over plucking when i was younger and this did a fantasic job of growing them back. However i really believe it depends on how the individual person responds to the product because some people swear it didn't work for them. I'd give at least one tube a try and see if it works for you.
