How long does the moisture last after it wears off?
I love the original's but only when they're on, my lips feel dry when it wears off, does the moisture last with this one?

Personally, I felt that the hydration did last a long time. It has a nice scent and is a great base for your lip products.

For me, it doesn't really last that much, unless I cover it up. I put lipstick on top of it during the day, and at night I apply a sheer of Rituals silkening lip treatment. This last product is really glossy, so when I wake up it's still there and my lips are truly soft. Additionally, I use the Fresh lip scrub (morning and night). That's the only way to keep my lips moisturized during the winter, and so far it worked.

I feel that its the same, unfortunately. I actually prefer Caudalie over this (even though this has the plumping spheres) because I know its going to stay on overnight and I wont wake up w dry lips (plus its much cheaper!)

The smell is the same, but way toned down. I use it before bed or when I'm going to be inside for the day since the smell (and taste) of the others can be a little bit much after a while. This one is perfect for before bed, especially because it's not sticky or greasy feeling.

I like the Original better. Just wrote that in my review, not to bother spending the extra bucks. Of course I HAD to try it, but won't bother with purchasing it again and go with the original one which I like better!

Yes, the ADVANCED Lip Treatment is different that all the others..... I love all the others and have gifted them all several times. But I consider this a true TREATMENT. As much as I like all the others for various reasons, this is the one I will continue to purchase from now on.

This product moisturizes and hydrates longer than the other products and I have 3 of the other Sugar products, this one works, I beleive it's because their is no SPF which can irrate your lips.

This one is meant for night wear or inside wear only- it doesn't have SPF so it doesn't have an SPF smell or taste. Also, the scent is way toned down, and you can feel it moisturizing instantly as you put it on. I really felt it was worth the money because my lips always get super dry in the winter, and especially at night, but if you don't have any dryness issues then you're probably Ok just buying the regular lip treatment! =)

This product is actually more moisturizing than the original but not SO much to the point that I'll always buy this. I do like how there is much less fragrance in this one though. Whether the extra $2.50 is worth it will be up to you!

It is different than the "regular" sugar lip treatment. This is a more intensive treatment, a bit thicker, and VERY hydrating and smoothing. I see their original product as something you apply during the day for lighter effects and SPF and this product as something you apply at night and first thing in the morning, to really let it do its work

In my experience, this lip balm is neither whitish nor chalky. It does have a slight sheen to it, but nothing that is overly glossy.

Clear, not ashy or white. Looks moist, but doesn't really moisturize the lips well. Not glossy either. So if your looking for a gloss, go for another product. Does give lips a healthy soft look with repeated use.

It's not glossy (or sticky!) like a lip gloss, it goes on more like a lipstick, but not nearly as waxy. It does not tint my lips white or change their color at all. In fact, I have been using it to top off my regular lip color because it just adds a tiny bit of sheen and makes my lips feel much more moisturized and soft without being sticky like a clear gloss.

How is this different from the original?
I know there are the tinted ones of these lip balms and I LOVE them, but I want to know how this is different from the clear one in the brown casing that goes along with the line of tinted ones. Is this any different in the first place? I want to make sure that if I buy this I will love it as much as I love my others from this brand! :)

This particular product is an advanced lip treatment. So whilst the original lip balm will do its job of hydrating and replenishing, this one goes above and beyond and will completely hydrate and quench your lips, giving them a healthier and fuller look.

I don't think this one has SPF protection. I used this at night since I don't need SPF protection when I'm sleeping. I think it has other ingredients that are designed to repair, not just protect.

I have all the other Fresh balms and this one (in the white container) is clear (no color) and seems to help keep my lips more hydrated than the colored ones. It has the same signature fresh scent, but feels completely smooth, where as one of the fresh balms I've purchased had a grainy feel to it (the coral red color).

Has anyone used both the Sugar Lip Treatment and Caudalie's Lip Conditioner? I have been using Caudalie's Lip Conditioner religiously for about a year now (and LOVE it), but would really like to hear how they compare.

I actually have both the caudalie & the sugar. The Caudalie is nice & inexpensive. However, if you're like me, you end up having to reapply it a lot and the after taste is not so nice. But, the Sugar makes lips very soft and lasts much longer on lips & the benefits are longer lasting as well. Plus, there is no weird taste, after taste or smell. It is a bit pricier but it is actually much better in the long run.

I've used the Caudalie lip treatment before ... The Fresh Sugar lip treatment feels heavier on the lips but lasts significantly longer than the Caudalie one. Also, I found that my lips returned to their dry flaky state once the Caudalie lip balm 'evaporated' from my lips (so I had to constantly reapply).. Not so with the Fresh Sugar. My lips were fully hydrated even after the lip treatment dried off my lips. Definitely worth spending more...

I have used both and I would pick Fresh over Caudalie. The Caudalie product doesnt last long enough and I had a hard time getting used to the scent they put in it. The fresh lip products have a really nice lemony citrus flavor that I never get tired of.

I haven't used the Caudalie one, but if you love it - i wouldn't switch. I love the Sugar Rose one, and was excited about trying this, but it did nothing for me and irritated my lips some. (I do love the Super Coconut Lips - I don't have the title quite right, but it comes in a little jar. LOVE that).

I have used both products and prefer Fresh. The texture is more moisturizing and seems to work better for my dry, chapped lips. In my opinion, the Caudalie was just not moisturizing enough.

To be Honest, I feel like sticking w my Caudalie over any of the Fresh lippies, including the new Advanced one, Why? Because I just get better results w Caudalie when I use it as a treatment, I want something that I can put on overnight that hydrates, nourishes and most of all STAYS ON! I do think Fresh makes some awesome products but seriously, if I was FORCED to choose, I'd go w $12 Caudalie which I hv been using for the past few yrs. I hv every color of Fresh (Except the Passion and Honey) along w the newest Advanced Treatment that contains the plumping spheres. I hv an issue w collecting them but then I never even use them beyond 1-2 Times...yet Ive been through countless Caudalie and panic if I get low so I always hv 1 or 2 extra on hand, It just plain delivers. I hv been using the new Fresh Advanced Treatment but Im pretty positive I will not be repurchasing. To be Honest, the signature Fresh scent isnt even all that great and it sometimes gives me sinus headaches. I bought my mom and myself the Advanced for Christmas and we use it at night. I wanted to pamper her w something that would plump also, she seems to like it enough, but I still find myself reaching for Caudalie, esp at night since I know it will stay on. I actually used up (I didnt want to waste it!) my original Fresh SPF Lip tube by massaging it into my hands a few Times, which was a lovely and nourishing experience....but since then I hv given the Plum to my mom (the color suits her better and she seems pumped about Fresh now) and just keep the Rose in my purse (it shows NO color on me and my skin and lips are fair, but I'm not going to rub Rose into my hands!!) just incase I get caught without any lip SPF which is super important. As for the plumping action, I do wear the Advanced every day and apply at least twice but once this tubes finished I think I'll go back to LipFusion.

I contacted Fresh directly and they said the advanced lip treatment and tinted lip balms are free of gluten, but they can't guarantee they don't cross contaminate with raw materials. The original lip treatment with SPF contains gluten.
