how does this compare to Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair serum?
I hear that the EL product has a cult of followers but i don't think there's anything that special about the ingredients and i'm not keen on the company itself and its bazillion formulations all promising to be the one. anyone feel, that this serum is supposed to do what the EL product claims, be an all-in-one repairer of damaged skin? thanks!

on Active Cell Renewal Night Serum
I personally do not like EL products much. Yes, it does give you the instant smooth feeling but it is because the product is full of silicon. Your skin may look smoother but it is not because of the improvement of the skin texture. It is because your skin is coated with silicon. Many skincare fanatics in Japan avoid EL.

I agree with you about Estee Lauder, this is way better, has a great feel, and it instantly makes you look moisturized. I was using this for about two weeks until I dropped it and it shattered on the floor. Just be careful of the glass container it comes in! Loved it though....
