Absolutely! Those are the three criteria I use too and this fits the bill on all three. I was surprised by how silky they feel and how long the color lasts. I use a shadow base, but I get at least 10 hours out of the color.

The color payoff is good, it takes me 2-3 swipes for a rich color. I find that these shades blend so well, go on smooth, and wear all day when paired with a good shadow primer.

Not in my experience. I found the shadows to have low color payoff, difficult to blend and with a chalky texture.

are the eye shadows waterproof or water-resistant?

I need anything on my face around/on my eyes area to be waterproof- first it helps by usually being less irritating to my problematic allergy weepy eyes, and second- I tear a lot i.e. CRY. What can I say, at 55yrs old I'm menopausal...

The eyeshadows are waterproof! They hung on during a few bouts of uglycrying, so you should be good to go. :3

The "In the Moment" palette has more light, fun and pastel tones of colors which are suitable for daytime and spring-season looks. The In the Garden palette also has a beautiful variety of colors but they are warmer and more rich in tones.
