This is a treatment- intended to be left on for an extended period of time on dry hair. It does deeply condition your hair but isn't good for use in the shower after normal cleansing.

You can use it as a repair kit. Please read my review. I applied it on my dry hair and wore a plastic cap over night and the result is unbelievable. Hope this helps! :)

I use a deep conditioner as well with a heat cap. I use the Ojon maybe once a month since it is different than some of the deep conditioners (It's a 10 or Macadamia line). If you are not sure how it would be different, I would get the small tub and try it. I think you would notice a difference.

No, it's a treatment. You should not use everyday, but you should use your deep conditionner every day.

I usually wash my hair with a moisturizing shampoo in the morning after keeping the mask on overnight. I follow up with a light conditioner.

I chose a hair ritual from Ojon that was suited for my type of hair. Follow the instructions of each product. Whenever my ends are dry, I will rub the treatment as instructed in my hands and apply it to the ends of my hair.

I use it everyday, It only takes a pea size amount to scalp your roots in sections, then just comb or brush. It gives it shine to your hair. Follow the directions alone with the shampoo and conditioner of your choice from Ojon.

Question
Useful for black women with long hair?
I have almost waist length dreadlocks. My hair is super super coarse, and moisturizing is definitely a daily part of my routine. Though I have had dreads for a long time, I still seek out new products from time to time for moisturizing. I see this product has great reviews, both on this site and elsewhere, but would this even useful for a woman with long hair? 3.1 ounces? That would probably be gone in one sitting. Worth it for $33 or pass?

Question
Will this help extremely dry, brittle hair?
I am taking medication that has caused my hair to become extremely dry and brittle. I am wondering if this will help stop breakage or if this is only for someone whose hair has been damaged due to heat, relaxers, dye, etc.

I really love this product. I can't specifically address the issue of medication, but it does work wonders for dry hair. It can be a "process" to apply, but I just get a hand towel and apply while watching TV and keep it on overnight.

This is perfect for really dry hair. Typically, after normal hair washing I lose quite a bit of hair blow-drying. After this TX, I dried my hair and lost almost no hair - and it felt so soft and full. If you are close to Sephora, get a sample pack and try it. I am in love!
