Yes! My friend used them on a acrylic set. They are more difficult to take off though. She had to go to a salon to get them removed. Hope that helps!!

Absolutely! My friend went to a nail salon recently and asked if they could place the designs on her acrlyic nails. It's very easy and they work just as well as if you were applying the nail strips to natural nails. I would reccomend however that you apply a clear nail polish coat to the top of the nail strips to insure a long-lasting application.

I don't think so...I CAN'T GET THEM OFF MY FAKE GEL NAILS! They've been on for over a week and keep getting caught in my hair when i wash my hair or fix my hair. Very annoying. I'm going to the salon to PAY to have them filed off.

Do these wear well?
I tried the older version of these from Sephora last year. They were awful and started peeling within an hour of use. I'm wondering if these newer OPI designs wear better, like that popular drugstore brand does.

These did not work for me because after i did my first hand i went to go do my second and the other strips dried out in about 4 min. They lasted for not even a week maybe because it was my first time and i wasn't pro, on the other hand i think they were really cute designs and might think about making another purchase.

i bought this three weeks ago for the first time, but it worked wonderfully for me. using the 3-in-1 base, top, and strengthener from Sephora by OPI before and on top worked for me, and i think helped it go on easier.

I think if you use a clear top coat, they last A LOT longer. My first set lasted less than 1 week and when I did the second set, with the top coat I'm already on day 10 with no peeling

I have never used these (or any other brand) before. I had them on for about 2.5 weeks and needed to remove them because my nails had grown out and I needed a change. The Mod style really camouflages any chipping that does occur but I found it to be minimal and I was cleaning my house and generally being rough on these things.

I can get at least 2 1/2 weeks out of them because they don't chip, But they do grow out with the nail so the moons start showing in about 2 weeks.

I know exactly what you're talking about and they're way better. It's actual nail polish that you put on, not a piece of paper or material. These stink like nail polish, are sticky like nail polish but don't smudge or spill like nail polish.

These new ones last as long on me as the drug store brand. The old sephora ones only lasted a day; they weren't really extended wear like these new ones are.

Yes! The are long lasting. I have had them on for 5 days without a chip. I use the Sephora by Opi clear top coat as a sealant.

i have only had mine on for a short time but i think they wear well. i also put on a top coat as extra precaution. i think these are perfect for a night out. even though that packaging says it will last up to 10 days, if you do a lot with your hands (like myself) i'm not expecting a super long wear out of these.

I rolled the top of the inner package down several times and then put it back in the outer package so that it doesn't come undone and I was able to use them again. I think a ziplock is too big and not airtight enough.

No. It drys up after an hour or so after you peel the plastic backing off. Sally jensen has 2 lil packets and they will help you with your problem, but won't solve it.

I've never been able to do it, which is a shame -- it would be really handy if you needed to fix a chip a day or two down the line.

I don't know if it will work or not but I have tried sealing the package shut with scotch tape. I don't see why it won't work, because they aren't left out in the air.

Once opened, it's a use it right now or lose it. I tried to save them by putting them immediately in a zip lock bag and a couple of days later they were unusable!

I have not had any luck with keeping the "extras" for any length of time. The first set, I tried sticking the rest back in the package and sealing them in a Ziploc in case I needed to do any touch-ups - the strips just ended up dried out and brittle. You might be better off trying the stick on, non-nail polish strips (Sephora Nail Bling) for just one or two fingers. They are a little less expensive too. :) I'm on day three of Gilded Lily with no chipping or peeling. Good luck!

Cannot reuse like other kinds. The product dries out once the plastic cover is removed. So you must use it in it's entirety the first application. :) Looks very nice though and still worth it.

Doesn't work :( I even tried to take the strips that had lost their adhesive and stick them on with nail glue. That doesn't work either, even after being soaked. They get hard to the point where they crack if you pull at them. Plus I ended up gluing my fingers together in the process. :o

When I used the Chinese Blossoms design last summer, I did need to trim off the overly long ends. But that is part of the process and how they adhere. I enjoyed them and plan on getting more soon. P.S. I also used them on my toes and they lasted several weeks there.

I didn't have to trim any of mine when I put them on. There was sometimes a small gap on the edge, but not noticeable at all. They will be too long, but you just file off the extra once you put it on your nail as the directions say. Overall I really liked this product!

You're supposed to file them downwards at the tip of your nail. If you mean that they're too big for your nail beds, I suggest placing one with the film and what-not still stuck to it and bend it to make sure it will or will not fit your nail. I myself had a few that were slightly too big (maybe a millimeter) and after I applied them and waited a day, the polish on my skin acted just as a normal polish would and flaked off without ruining the rest of my nail! Hope this helped :)

Tuck the sticker under the nail, using an orange stick and then file the excess off to create a seamless edge.

I did have to trim mine, but very little beyond just trimming the length (like the directions say) and most of that was because I didn't get them on exactly straight. The whole process only took me about half an hour, and they looked fabulous.

Yes. Trimming is needed. It depends on the length of your nail. You select the patch according to the size of your nail. You then gently smooth the patch and trim the excess. You can do it without scissors!

they dry out quickly, so it's a one time use. they are also very easy to warp, stick together, and rip while you're putting them on, so they might not survive to put on more than one person's nails.

Yes. Today I used half of the package and put the strip on both my hands and did all of my toenails too. I have relatively short nails though.
I still have half of it left for next time! Keep it sealed up tight in a ziplock bag.

Once the nails are opened from the sealed pouch they will dry out. There is no multiple use for these. I wish there was though.

You can't use them multiple times, as they dry out since they are made of real nail laquer. So they're a one time use item, they just include extas just in case you mess up.

I had leftovers after doing all nails and my big toes (all of which are SHORT). I followed the directions of sealing the extras in a baggie for later use or touch-ups, but I didn't need touch-ups and haven't tried using them again, so I'm not sure if it actually worked. They would be great to share with a friend, if you both have short nails!

There are enough to do your nails once. You could possibly do an "accent nail" with the leftovers but they will probably we too small/large for you. I think they include so many so a wide variety of people can find their "fit". The largest one would fit on my big toe!

normal nail polish remover does a great job, but if you have one of the more colourful designs, you might want to use a sponge polish remover, the kind you would use at a nail salon.

Soak your nails in acetone for about 3 minutes and then the stickers will just come off with a little scratch of the nail or cotton ball.

There are 16 strips to allow for different sized fingernails. Not everyone has small fingernail beds so adding more gives you more options to have the perfect fit for each finger.

Everyone's nails are different sizes- you pick the ones that fit the right fingers. Not all will fit and cover the whole nail, so you'll throw 6 out.

People have different sized fingers. The extra strips are so you have a better chance of having the right size for your finger without a lot of work trimming or patching. For me, I had leftovers because I have short nails and could use one strip for two nails. I could get another partial application out of the leftovers (like every other nail, or something).

I believe they include so many so you can match them to the size of your nails. There was one that was way smaller than my pinkie nail and a few that were WAY bigger than my thumb nail. I think they are just trying to provide different sizes to work for a wide variety of people.

No need to add clear polish prior to adding the strip, but highly suggested to add a coat or two on top of strip for an extra glossy look and longer lasting polish.

it's not required, but from experience, i found it helped them go on easier. if you want to, i would suggest using a base and top coat from Sephora by OPI, because some polishes made by different companies sometimes don't work well together and might give you a bad experience with the product.

No, you want to shape and buff your nails first. Then clean off the oil with some nail polish remover. Put the stickers on and press them down and stretch them around really good then put a clear top coat over. They'll last forever.

You would probably need more than one set or use the toe ones to find ones big enough. They are easy to apply large ones and trim around nail bed that way it would fit on flared ends.
