I've used this and it doesn't have shimmer or glitter in it. It reminds me of a combination blush / softer highlighter - not the sparkly shimmery kind.

No shimmer at all. it's definitely a muted satin finish. A mild sheen, if that helps.

it's more luminous and glowy than shimmery. i wouldn't call this a shimmer blush at all.

This blush is not matte, but doesn't have noticeable flecks of glitter in it either. It's true to the explanation of having a soft satin finish, meaning that it has a bit of a glow to it but doesn't look too glittery. I totally hate glittery blushes since they look a little juvenile in my opinion (unfortunately a lot of benefit blushes have excessive amounts of glitter), however this one is perfect because the satin finish is barely noticeable. When you go in the sun, it doesn't look like you've applied glitter to your face at all and you can barely tell that it has a slight sheen to it. Hope that was helpful!

There is some glitter in this product that disappears quickly. There is a very light shimmer to this. It isn't nearly as shimmery as sugarbomb, but it definitely isn't completely matte. It looks very natural when applied and gives a nice healthy, pink glow.

I found a swatch online via Vampy Varnish and it shows Sugarbomb, Hervana, and Bella Bamba side by side. Looks more matte than Sugarbomb!

Question
Violet-toned?
Does Hervana show up as more violet-toned pink rather than peachy pink? Orchid is a bright purple color, so I'm assuming that "orchid blossom" means the lavender/lilac/mauve colors rather than pinks? On my monitor the photo of Hervana looks like it has rich berry and peach tones, but my monitor is usually wrong. :-)

It's definitely more of a pink. I wouldn't say it looks purple at all. It's a gorgeous color though! I have a fair to medium skin tone and I love it!

every so slightly violet more lilac hued but with the peachy/brown colors, it's still very pinkish

Berry Delight is relatively purple colored, but it does show with some pink undertones, almost fuchsia colored, but it doesn't show that way on the skin. It comes up as a really pretty natural pink glow.

I would not call this a violet pink! I would call it more of a petal pink. The overall color when swirled is a soft pink.

On me, I think it looks like a cool pink. It isn't too purple toned at all. This may vary by skin tone though and I have very fair skin.

depending on your undertones, this blush could go either warm or cool. i'm cool toned so it looks more pink on me. if you have more yellow undertones, it will look peachier on you. i hope this helps!

The colors of this blush are a slightly pink berry tone with a soft sheen and peachy mix. You can change the intensity of colors by using different brushes.

I would say yes, it has more berry tones than pink/coral tones. The colors blend nicely to create a soft, berry glow color. However it does not come across as purple on my skin.

Although it looks a bit purply online and in the box, it actually goes on the cheeks as a very natural rosy pink color! The white doesn't make it too chalky and the purply shade doesn't over power it either.

I have somewhat sensitive skin and I use the Hervana blush and have had no problems with it at all. If you buy from Sephora and you have a reaction you can always return the product with no problems. They are great about returns.

I have sensitive skin too and this blush worked out great for me, though I'd reccomend going to benefit or sephora and have it applied to you and make the judgement for yourself later in the day.

I have very sensitive skin and I've used the Dandelion kind for a couple of years and have had no problems. I got the Hervana recently and it's a similar consistency and my skin has had no adverse reactions. Go for it, I love their powders and blushes!

I have very sensitive skin to the point where if I put a product on and my skin does not agree with it, I will break out in itchy bright red hive like little bumps =/ Not fun. I didn't have ANY issues with this blush. I found it safe to use for sensitive skin.

I have very sensitive skin as well, I have yet to break out. I am a fan of Benefit's products because I do not get irritated. Trust me you should purchase! If you want to be extra careful I say go to the mall have them leave a swatch and wear it all day.

Question
Dandelion or Hervana?
I have heard so many good things about Benefit's Hervana and Dandelion boxed powders, but I don't know which to get! I have fair skin with pink undertones, bright blue eyes and red hair with hints of brown tones.
I am looking for something to wake up my face and make me look radiant. What is the major difference between Hervana and Dandelion?
Thanks! :)

I got Hervana and liked it so much I got Dandelion next. I haven't used them both too much yet but the difference seems to be that Hervana is a little more on the pink side with a little more shimmer and Dandelion is more a natural brownish-pink blush - like a very light bronzer. That's just my opinion. I'm also a redhead with green eyes. I like them both!

I have auburn hair, hazel eyes, and fair skin. I bought Hervana to try it out after I'd used Dandelion for nearly a year. I haven't used it since the Hervana arrived! Hervana is more of a blush-flush than an all-over powder, but the four-color depth of shade just looks more natural to me. If you're looking for a lip color to go with it, try Benefit's Who Are You Wearing lip gloss.

I have them both... Dandelion is more peachy, but Hervana is a little more plum but only very slightly.... I tend to use Dandelion every day, except if I wear something that is a very definate plum color then I go to the Hervana...love them both

I think this is a great natural color and it gives you a beautiful barely there glow. It can be layered to give a strong color pay-off but I usually use it as a soft blush.
